I think it may be helpful to exaggerate a bit to make the skit feel less serious.

And it may be helpful to at least pretend to play Guitar Hero, and more humorous if the players randomly pressed buttons and strummed. There just seems to be a lot of lack of activity and interaction and if that were added it would make the skit more alive I think ^^
