@supersweetsong Youre welcome sis! Shea moisture is my fave as well and trying these products wont replace them BC they do completely different things.
Excellent tutorial!!! I have not been successful at washNgoes and have given up on the concept because of my curl pattern-which is very similar to yours, but I hadn't tried this (using the Kinky Curly produts). This video leaves me hopeful. Im kinda in love with my Shea Moisture products right now- dont really want to mess up a good thing. However I still want to try the Kinky Curly line. And when I do-this will be the first thing I try- once it gets warmer that is....Thank you!!!!
Hi!! I just created a YOUTUBE account so that I could respond to this video. I did a real BC in March of this year. I was so happy to find someone with my hair type and also someone that BC in the same month as mine (although mine was this year)! You are such an inspiration! I love your videos. Since my hair is a TWA, do you have any suggestions on creating something (wash and go) similar? I hate the shrinkage of my hair and don't always want to twist. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
Hey mi name is Ashley. It been 4 month of natural. I luv mi hair. I wonder if u can help me out. I be look 4 different styles. Right now it cornrows up and middle is out. How long such i let cornrows stay in. Really wanna mi curl out. Mi hair is 3a. Be doing mi homework bout natural hairs. I been look at ur video. Luv ur hair. Please help me. Thanks
I have the Knot Today, but not the Custard-how about the Target in my area doesn't sell both! Before I try purchasing the custard online-I'm wondering how many days can you maintain this style?
I love love love your videos by the way. You are so creative! Thanks so much for your hair of the day styles-keep up the great work!
@msfeblesmanni by the 4th day Im ready for a new look. But I know it can go further. Each morning I wet it and then It shrinks up each day after it dries.

Love this style on you but I tried it and it shrunk up my hair and I had residue left on it. I did it exactly how you did. Also did you condition your hair and then you shampoo it? Your hair looks great and keep up the good work.
@Candygurl321 I think i've trained my hair to do that by ALWAYS setting my braids and twists to the front. If you watch my other tutorials, you will see that i ALWAYS set my hair going towards my forehead.
@TheCoilWhisperer Hey Sis! I'm not sure why I didn't say that in the video because thats what I started doing with my 2nd wash n go and with this one. Oh man!
@LaLaSayz76 In my opinion all of what I did took so much time I dont really understand how this is a wash n go LOL I called it a Wash n Go because everyone else does, but I think what you do is more of a wash n go then this. :)
@jazzepink Really? What parts would you suggest be cut out? I try to be mindful of those who have no real experience and answer questions in the beginning. I increased the speed of a large portion of the video. I would love your suggestions. ;)
I love your sectioning method now I won't have that crazy middle part. I don't think I'll be trying this style because I'm a bum I think it's too much work for a 'wash 'n go' lol. I love your hair care regimen though! Thanks 4 the tips n c u @ the I love my 'fro meet!!
@LuClu81 awesome!! So happy to help! Yay!!!! Please come up to me at the show! I will be the MC at the beginning and Ill be at the product swap table!
@trecey920 About 40 minutes during filming bc I'm showing the product amount up to the camera and I'm turning around to show the camera. But if I just stood there and did my thing it would take about 30 minutes. Especially now that I have my technique developed pretty well.
I have the same hair type as you and Iave been natural for almost 9 months now. I want to know do you have problems with single strand knots? If so, how do you deal with them?
alright, so i'm a new subscriber. just today, as a matter of fact. i can't even remember how i found myself on your blog, but it's been bookmarked, believe me! my question to you is if you have experienced any white residue in your hair after it is completely dry? i could tell there was some present while wet, but it becomes "less" noticeable when dry from my personal experience with Kinky-Curly. if yes, any tips on how to combat the white residue?
@JraiLuvChild It shrinks up a bit more then what u see in this video. The curls become a bit fuller as it dries. Their is a great hold. Sorta hard because there is gel on it. But nothing I can't live with.
this style is so cute but i'm kind of scared to do it cause it seems like so much product being used throughout the hair and i love for my hair to feel light weight. i shall see
i seriously need to check your videos cuz imma 4b and i only have 2 styles to wear---i already know how to care for my hair--i just need styles---i see some in here i love on you---keep inspiring and encouraging me sis!!!

@mamatai76 I understand. It took me forever to try it out. If it wasn't for my Target Gift Card, I dont think I would have even purchased it.

I like the custard for my twistouts, not so much for wash-n-goes.
