  • @supersweetsong Youre welcome sis! Shea moisture is my fave as well and trying these products wont replace them BC they do completely different things.

  • Excellent tutorial!!! I have not been successful at washNgoes and have given up on the concept because of my curl pattern-which is very similar to yours, but I hadn't tried this (using the Kinky Curly produts). This video leaves me hopeful. Im kinda in love with my Shea Moisture products right now- dont really want to mess up a good thing. However I still want to try the Kinky Curly line. And when I do-this will be the first thing I try- once it gets warmer that is....Thank you!!!!

  • I've tried kinky curly 5 Times no matter what white residue shows up. Glad it worked for you I've moved on

  • love the hair and makeup. what do you use on ur lips? u should do makeup tutorials :)

  • soo glad i finally found someone that does a wash n go with my hair texture! yay

  • Hi!! I just created a YOUTUBE account so that I could respond to this video. I did a real BC in March of this year. I was so happy to find someone with my hair type and also someone that BC in the same month as mine (although mine was this year)! You are such an inspiration! I love your videos. Since my hair is a TWA, do you have any suggestions on creating something (wash and go) similar? I hate the shrinkage of my hair and don't always want to twist. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

  • Hey mi name is Ashley. It been 4 month of natural. I luv mi hair. I wonder if u can help me out. I be look 4 different styles. Right now it cornrows up and middle is out. • So off subject but you have pretty skin my natural sister! What's your regimen?

  • Thank you so much for such a quick reply! I'll have to give it a try! I hope you win the competition to be the Huetiful Hair Model! Great luck!

  • I have the Knot Today, but not the Custard-how about the Target in my area doesn't sell both! Before I try purchasing the custard online-I'm wondering how many days can you maintain this style?

I love love love your videos by the way. You are so creative! Thanks so much for your hair of the day styles-keep up the great work!

  • @msfeblesmanni by the 4th day Im ready for a new look. But I know it can go further. Each morning I wet it and then It shrinks up each day after it dries.

  • Love this style on you but I tried it and it shrunk up my hair and I had residue left on it. I did it exactly how you did. Also did you condition your hair and then you shampoo it? Your hair looks great and keep up the good work.

  • @kjpurplerain I shampooed, go out the shower, added the leave in, then the custard.

  • The best wash && go ive seen !

  • @MizTripleATV WooHoo!

  • LOL love the bobble head shake. Thanks for the video!

  • @tanyahdg LOL

  • Finally! Somebody with my exact hair type. Soooo happy I found you ^.^ Happily subscribing.

  • @babyjovi1 yay!!

  • LOVE this look! It makes me want to spend the money on the custard but I don't think my hair will turn out that cute. Looks great on you though.

  • @mamatai76 I understand. It took me forever to try it out. If it wasn't for my Target Gift Card, I dont think I would have even purchased it.

  • I like the custard for my twistouts, not so much for wash-n-goes.

  • @AfroMohawkable A few people told me to try it with my twist out.

  • how do u get ur hair to fall down in the front? I dont know if my hair not long enough yet or it just like to grow up.

  • @Candygurl321 I think i've trained my hair to do that by ALWAYS setting my braids and twists to the front. If you watch my other tutorials, you will see that i ALWAYS set my hair going towards my forehead.

  • nice video havent watched you in forever the hair looked fab :)

  • @Vannerella Thanks! You been MIA. Love your new color.

  • Hi lady! I haven't read the comments below but have you tried sleeping with mini pineapples with your WnG? It worked out pretty good for me.

  • @TheCoilWhisperer Hey Sis! I'm not sure why I didn't say that in the video because thats what I started doing with my 2nd wash n go and with this one. Oh man!

  • tHANks soo much for sharing!

I've been doing wash n gos incorrectly all this time!!

I've just been doing wet, curly fros!! LOL

  • @LaLaSayz76 In my opinion all of what I did took so much time I dont really understand how this is a wash n go LOL I called it a Wash n Go because everyone else does, but I think what you do is more of a wash n go then this. :)

  • @BlakIzBeautyful LOL...regardless of the time, It's soo worth it because it's is GAW-JUS!!! (that's gorgeous in country slang!! LOL)

  • @BlaklzBeautyful I sure will, I have some products to swap too.

  • I like this instrumental a lot

  • Shaking your hair really made a difference!! Looks great!!

  • @BLKGOYA It sure did! Made it big and full!

  • love the tutorial, but 30 mins is tooo long

  • @jazzepink Really? What parts would you suggest be cut out? I try to be mindful of those who have no real experience and answer questions in the beginning. I increased the speed of a large portion of the video. I would love your suggestions. ;)

  • I have the Kinky Curly Detangling brush

  • I love your sectioning method now I won't have that crazy middle part. I don't think I'll be trying this style because I'm a bum I think it's too much work for a 'wash 'n go' lol. I love your hair care regimen though! Thanks 4 the tips n c u @ the I love my 'fro meet!!

  • @LuClu81 awesome!! So happy to help! Yay!!!! Please come up to me at the show! I will be the MC at the beginning and Ill be at the product swap table!

  • i think this wash and go looks better than your first -- this one looks nice and big - i love big hair!

  • @MISSDEEDEVINE1 The shaking at the end really really helps to make it bigger!!

  • I LOVE how the Kinky Curly turned out in your hair. It didn't shrink it up like it's done mine before. I think I need to try your technique.

  • @brownshuga24 YES! The shaking really fluffs it out. I did that the 2nd time. N loved the results.

  • Sheesh I'm jealous! You have no shrinkage at all. I did a wash and go today and by the time it was dry it looked like I had a TWA lol

  • @amiebayb It's still wet sis. I have a little more shrinkage then in this video but Day 2-4 it's really shrunken!

  • hey, it looks good. you did it pretty fast. How long did it take you to put the KKCC in your whole head?

  • @trecey920 About 40 minutes during filming bc I'm showing the product amount up to the camera and I'm turning around to show the camera. But if I just stood there and did my thing it would take about 30 minutes. Especially now that I have my technique developed pretty well.

  • @BlakIzBeautyful ok, that's pretty good timing still. Thx for getting back with me.

  • Have*

  • I have the same hair type as you and Iave been natural for almost 9 months now. I want to know do you have problems with single strand knots? If so, how do you deal with them?

  • @st1540sn Hey sis. Nope. Don't get them. It might be due to how I take care of my hair.

  • alright, so i'm a new subscriber. just today, as a matter of fact. i can't even remember how i found myself on your blog, but it's been bookmarked, believe me! my question to you is if you have experienced any white residue in your hair after it is completely dry? i could tell there was some present while wet, but it becomes "less" noticeable when dry from my personal experience with Kinky-Curly. if yes, any tips on how to combat the white residue?

  • @mizunoami85 Hey sis! I have no residue at all (thank god). My hair looks blacker with this product on!

  • good job KCCM!

  • How did your wash and go last throughout the day?

  • @JraiLuvChild It shrinks up a bit more then what u see in this video. The curls become a bit fuller as it dries. Their is a great hold. Sorta hard because there is gel on it. But nothing I can't live with.

  • this style is so cute but i'm kind of scared to do it cause it seems like so much product being used throughout the hair and i love for my hair to feel light weight. i shall see

  • @coldestwoman I hear you. It doesn't feel heavy once it dries. Trust me.

  • you have given us hope, all of us with very kinky and coily hair thanks a million and this wash and go is very nice

  • @blondierose1970 YAY!!!!

  • YOU ROCKKKKKKKKKK:-)
