is it appropriate to ask your former employer for a reference letter even after two years since you left the company? if so, how would you ask them? if not, how would you handle that you do not have other references available?
@GundamAngelicDevil - you can always ask for a letter of recommendation. Always best to approach your former supervisor directly, either by phone or e-mail, to make the request. Worst thing that can happen is that they decline, in which case you simply would not have that letter of recommendation. You could, at that point, go on to others at your former employer (with whom you have worked in the past) to make the request.
