I stayed at this hotel this past April ('08). I made my reservation on the Adam's Mark website in January and by the time of my stay, it was a Sheraton. It had just changed names a week prior to my arrival. I got to watch the helicopter put the new letters go up on the building. And I got to ride the elevator up to the 38th! Thanks for the video.
This elevator was originally a montgomery and was modernized by KONE when there name was montgomeryKONE (1994-1999). That logo is only used on elevators that were modernized.
mabe in about a mounth or 2 I will go down town pittsburgh and go to the SX tower witch is 54 storys or higher the elevator I rode last time was an express and went to 54 but I think its taller
I love that view at the top. Have you ever been to the CN tower in canada if not you should go someday they have a glass floor there at the top its a very to building oh and there otis elevators
I would love to go to the 38th floor some day when go to pittsburgh I will se if I can get in th USX tower its 63 storys and get you a video and also the macys plaza tower 13 storys I will take a vid of me going to unlucky 13
Nice elevator! It reminds me of a fast-moving office elevator! For all you long-time Dallasites, the Adam's Mark in Dallas is the building that used to say "SOUTHLAND LIFE" on the top floor. The complex consisted of a south tower (1959), a central tower (1960), and a north tower (1981).

This is now a Sheraton. The Marriott Palmetto Center in Columbia used to be an Adam's Mark Hotel.

Very nice and fast elevators! The speed of this elevator is around 800-1000FPM.
