I'm listening through headphones. It sounds like you panned the rhythm guitars somewhere between the far left/right and center, let the melodies go into the far left/right. Not sure, but it blends together nicely. Trying to achieve this nice blend on my own recordings.
I record each rhythm track twice and pan the first track 51% to left and and the other 51% right (not sure on how i decided on 51, but it just works for me) :)
That leave me alot of headroom to move lead-tracks wherever i want in the soundscape. I can decide to pan them all the way to either side or put them right in the middle.
@TheFireball100 Oh, another thing i can recommend is using a plugin to enhance stereo on the project. Good use of something like that can also help to make the tracks sound more seperated and less cluttered.
I just have to tell you this: Me and my girlfriend are right now sitting on two opposite sides of our city and listening to this song. It´s our new favourite song, and none of us had any doubts of it O_O
I just wanted to tell you that this track is really epic and should have more views, likes and you should gain more subscribers ^^
@Maccie You´re welcome, and I´m glad you appreciate it!
Yeah, it does make it more fun and rewarding ^^ I think the same when it comes to picking a random composer on the internet, listen to the music, and review it. This time I hit the jackpot XD Sadly, I don´t have anything constructive to come with... I couldn´t say anything you could´ve done better =( That´s odd for me =P I don´t even think the tune needs lyrics, so not even that could be better XD
This tune contains beauty and heavy riffs. That combination is usually epic!
The chords at 2:08 and 2:13... They sound so distorted, but beautiful in the same way! They really fit the atmosphere a lot!
The guitar solo is epic! The drums follos the solo as if it was it´s tail, and they really co-operate in a perfect harmony! The second part of the solo is epic and heavy, and you really imagine being on a concert!
Trond Vold, it's so good to hear something from you. :) I'm thefireball from GMC. I'm the guy that bought the Jackson SLSMG like yours. ;) It's my baritone guitar right now. It's currently got a 68 on the bottom and tuned to Drop A (sometimes Drop Ab). You be sure and let us know at GMC when your stuff is available to buy, please. ;)
Awesome, fresh stuff! I played your other songs you shared on GMC over and over last year on my iPod. --Brandon

The lead guitar at 1:19 is so dramatic!

" ...you gotta be kidding! " was my first though as I started to listen to the most epic and heavy piece of metal I´ve heard on a while.
The intro catches your attention at once! The rhythm, the chords, and the note at 0:05.
Drums are just awesome! Fills, how you used cymbals, bass-kick, everything!
I love the riff starting at 0:31. Really heavy and epic!
Chord at 0:16 is just brilliant!
The rhythms in this song... O_O
I love it!
I also love the more melodic part starting at 1:03.
