This seems like a copy of the korean movie A Tale of two sisters which btw KICKED ASS.Asian horror movies > American horror movies.I laugh when I see the credits "From the creators of The Ring and The Grudge" which both movies were created by Japan.so yeah another cheap silly movie..not gonna watch it.

You didn't even try watching it and you're already criticizing it? This, in my opinion, is one of the only asian movie remakes which took its own turns and storyline into its own movie version, with such a different atmosphere. I really found it refreshing. I strongly recommend it.

This is one of my favourite movies, probably only because of Emily. However, people saying that the American version traded content for "cheap gore" clearly have not even seen the movie. There IS no gore. Name one scene that has gore, in any amount besides the obvious dead body. There isn't one. It's all psychological. I love both versions.

I remember seeing this movie in the theaters a while back. It wasn't BAD, per say, but it wasn't good either. It was based off of the Korean horror film, "A Tale of Two Sisters". I'd say that one had a scarier feel to it, but the American version explained what was REALLY happening (toward the end) a lot better. The Korean version, even though I prefer it, left me somewhat bewildered in the end :)

The other girl in the mental house was really the women who killed all those children because she was obsessed with their dad. Alex died in the fire the same time as her mother, which Anna caused. Because she saw her father banging the chick. When her boyfriend tolled Anna she was the one who set the fire she killed him. And when that counselor dude Came in the end she tolled him she "finished what she started"
