My tattoo was not even an issue. I will not get another one because I do not feel that it is right to do now because my body is a temple. There are many today who call themselves Jesus Christ, especially one Jesus Miranda who claims to have a worldwide following and is instructing people to mark themselves with the tatoo "666" to show their loyalty to him. Why is it that the name of Jesus is being used in that way by satanic leaders today? Can't people see this is satan's teaser to what he will do later on? @420acidshrooms I was in front of Jesus, face to face, and He did not mention my tattoo at all. It was understood that my tattoo was from a period in my life were I was lost in the world. My tattoo was not even an issue. I will not get another one because I do not feel that it is right to do now because my body is a temple. But Jesus did not want to cast me into Hell because of my tattoo. He understood that I had gotten it while I was lost.

I have never let these jokers bug me with the "name game" my nana and daddy were Holy Ghost and fire preachers and I grew up serving God and Jesus Christ seeing mighty revivals healings etc. These people don't got no sense, do they think all the generations past didn't reach God?How does one read the Word using all the made up new wave names? The point is there was a prophecy, this prophecy said to not call upon the name Jesus in the great tribulation. If you do you may actually find that it does not call upon Jesus because yes he knows your heart but no, in THAT time he WONT respond to that name.
Can you see how Amightywind are not saying Jesus does not know your heart? For instance I know that you know Jesus and arent a false teacher, its just clear to me. That same witness should tell you to consider their prophecy.

There are many today who call themselves Jesus Christ, especially one Jesus Miranda who claims to have a worldwide following and is instructing people to mark themselves with the tatoo "666" to show their loyalty to him. Why is it that the name of Jesus is being used in that way by satanic leaders today? Can't people see this is satan's teaser to what he will do later on? He is mocking YAHUSHUA and the church has to open their eyes. We need to do what the early church did.

Many people are saved in the Name of Jesus Christ today, but will not be so in the soon coming Great Tribulation, which is why it is important to learn HIS Hebrew Name, YAHUSHUA ha MASHAICH. And yes, until the last 100 years or so, if Pierre came to USA & we called him Peter, he wouldn't care because he knows Peter is the English version of Pierre just as Kephas was called Petros and we call him Peter. Its all the same thing.
The idea that a name is defined by which letters you use is a modern concept.

Norwegian: Peder, Petter
Spanish: Pedro
Yahoshua, Yeshua, Iesous, Iesus, Joshua, Jesus same thing.
Iakobos, Iacomus, James, same name.
The ancients did not understand these to be different names because they had different letters. That's a modern notion. Your concept of Jesus' name is anachronistic.

Jesus said, "... You shall be called Kephas" (which is translated Petros).

I rejected these teachings many times. You can not restrict Jesus to a single word or a single name. The Holy name preachers on Youtube would be much better off sharing some testimony about God and how He saved them and turned them from sin. But instead they do what they do. A tree is known by it's fruit. The fruit of this name game is bad.

Amen, I started to get caught up in it too. But, when demons were attacking me and holding me down, they FLED when I said "In the name of Jesus...". So it's great to know things, but all in all, Jesus sees the purity of our heart. There is NO way we can get EVERYTHING right, that's why we need grace.

I had the same type of experience.
I had an encounter with a terrible evil spirit and when I called on Jesus name he came and protected me. Soon after I got caught up in this same name game It's amazing how easily I forgot about how he protected me. I'm thankful that you have reminded me of the truth.

This is very true brother. People don't even realize that satan is using this issue to cause division. He has already been successful in the religion department. There is nowhere in the word of God that says "You must call me this to enter into the kingdom or else." The word of God that I read says my saviors name is "Jesus." May I ask you what group you are referring to? I would like to tell you that Mary/Miryam did not give her baby a Greek name. The Son of GOD was a Jew born from a Hebrew virgin, thus HE was given a Hebrew Name which is YAHUSHUA.Nonetheless, in the Father's Mercy HE honored and anointed the Greek translation of that Name because we didn't any better.
