Quattron Pro Calibration

First of all thanks for the video. I have direct tv and i am having a hard time getting the settings on the cable mode to look good. Do you have any settings on that or know where i could get them? Thanks in advance.

Just purchased the Sharp Aquos Quattron 60" LED. I found this video and it has helped with the calibration. I was wondering what settings you have for watching regular HD cable? Do you have specific settings for a PC as well? Thanks!

with the blu-ray movie settings, would it still work with regular DVD quality or would some things seem darker or lighter etc

I tried your calibration settings for game. The colors were a little strong and green turnedt into cyan.

When I play Rage on xbox 360, the greenish colors seem so strong they blur, kinda where shadow spots would be, and had some issues in Bioshock 2 were it blurred cuz it was too strong

I'm having trouble viewing sports. The live filming from above appears blurry.

Close-ups are clear. Is this the broadcast or something else? I never noticed this on my other lcd panels. There is a shimmer effect too. Is this what they call noise? How do I eliminate this?

Hey I recently got a Sharp quattron 40. Does anyone else have backlight problems? Mine isn't perfect, like unless its from a perfect angle, you can see a little clouding on an all black screen. I'm waiting for amazon to get it back in stock so i can exchange...

People need to understand that a calibration is subject to factors that you have ex light in home cable etc. One calibration is not a fix all for everyone or the factory would send them all out like that. My point is his professional calibration might not work for you.

@Reno77riggs for sports just turn on film mode under advanced settings and make sure refresh rate is 120hz high. sports look phenomenal

Hi. Thanks for this, it really helped me with my 735. What was the color temp you used? I think it looks best on the middle one, but the default for movie mode was low.

Can't wait to get home to try your calib settings on my new 835u 46" 3d. I must say, I was a little disappointed after numerous attempts at tweaking to my liking. I only got to fool with it a few days b4 going away a few days, but again, headin' back tomorrow to try out. I have seen mixed reviews although never a real bad one on this set. I have even considered returning for a samsung or panasonic plasma 3d. My xbox gamertag is PSLFury so hit me up if you want-u sound cool. Thx again!!!!!

I used your game settings, I got the 60 inch version. For Xbox 360. In Halo Wars the green was basically turning into orange. Had to change it back. Yellow at -30 on Hue is right? Seems extreme

The effect from the 120hz, where it seems like you are actually standing on the set when watching movies, is there a way to change that so it looks more traditional too?

I would mainly be watching dvds and I have a mac hooked up through hdmi-dvi that i watch videos from amazon on. Thank you so much if you can clarify this.

@Gunnar44 yea you can turn it off. the 120hz will still be active but the soap opera effect is caused by Film Mode which can be turned off in the advanced settings.

@HuDDoPresentations I don't think they were tool much different.I turned the sharpness down quite a bit since it iss 1080i through the cable box. I would tell you fit sure buy the quattron is in the other yukon waiting to be hooked back up.I just got a new 3d tv for the living tom.I will ber posting a video on it on a few days.
