this is indeed very acurate, although fairly I must say 50-60% of the time verizon is a little faster. The iPhone is probably the best AT&T phone out there, I must point out that other phones receive connection much quicker than the iPhone. Sprint is good an all but you must have been in a hotspot for sprint. I'd say from my observation that 1. Verizon, 2. AT&T, 3. Sprint. But as shown in this video Verizon isn't all that reliable. I'm not taking sides either for I am an AT&T customer.

I like these simple tests. Very informative visual. I know most hate my phone but I am a PalmPre user. Got it when it came out and never turned back. I was a windows mobile user before and tried blackberry for a week but returned. My PalmPre has survived and continues to update to my satisfaction (although I want flash!).

i think this would have been a more fair network comparison if you had chosen a verizon device running a webkit based browser. All blackberries(with the exeption of a few leaked storms with the webkit) ship with a browser running on the same engine as Internet explorer(microsofts outdated browser) causing slower load times than a webkit or nitro based browser. i would like to see this redone with the EVO 4G, Iphone 4, and Droid X, all the highest end phones on each network.

Genneraly At&t has the worst network but most reliabilty, versizon is the opposite having a great network and poor reliability and sprint is the middle ground having good in both but not as great as the others.(Although rice does need to be accounted for on each network)
