  • I love it when a woman uses the line "be a man about it." What would a woman know about being a man, anyways?

  • A fantatisco song!

  • Daaaamnnn... Kim Wilde and Taylor Dayne! I fucking love the women of the 80's!!

  • Good song but her voice sucks. I can hardly hear it over the background music.

  • DIANA AGRON IN GLEE SANG THIS NO OFFENSE BUT SHE SANG IT BETTER BUT KIM WILDE IS GOOD TOO

  • @01BFML38 haha I agree

  • @zelly7azul :)

  • i wish those days and that music came back, in the same quality videos and audio. i was born in 93 but i appreciate the 60's 70's 80's and 90's for music SOO god damn much!!

  • @sexdrugsandrave I was thinking the same thing today.however I was born in 67..hahaha but yeah the music back when I was a teenager was this kind of music..simple, to the point and just plain fun!

  • @sexdrugsandrave Agreed! I was born in '96, and I like some of the modern music, but the music from the 60's thru the 90's is just amazing compared to some of the crap of today /:I

  • honestly... who the hell would keep HER hanging on?

  • this better than the black version haha

  • great song

  • 80's was ..best. just best

  • The original is almost always better and the Supremes' version is no exception.

But this song sounds exactly like it was intended to and is a good "Kim Wilde" song.

  • Great Song !!! Kim Wilde, Supremes, Vanilla Fudge Rock This Song

  • To me, it seems like she is combining vanilla fudge's version with the supremes original version of the song. The vocal harmonies in the chorus aren't in the supremes original, but they are in VF's, However, the tempo and song structure is definitely more supreme-sy. Anyway, all three of them are wonderful!

  • My lifelong quest if complete! I've finally found it!

  • i love this song!!!

  • THE VALUE OF THE SONG IS THE ONLY POSSIBLE: ITS THE CLASSIC! THE SUPREMES! MOTOWN RECORDS!this kim sth is just reproducing it...in a very trashy way

  • @TheGabiborek This is the only version worth hearing.

  • @TheGabiborek I'm sorry but "trashy" has no association to Kim Wilde. None at all! Say what you will about this song and who covered it. But "trashy" is inaccurate. Her name and that word don't belong in the same sentence.

  • Great Song! I crank this up full volume in the car!

  • How could I have forgotten how much I loved this song, this video, and her HAIR..!!

    Clearly, I'm senile.

  • OMG!! Too many memories w/ this song!! Glad I found it on here. My fav, on so many levels!!

  • I liked this song when I was 12 its better than most of the shitty songs of today like Justin Bieber.

  • @Quamlen again with the bieber you got a serious issues with the bieber

  • @Quamlen Justin Bieber's a pussy! He should just die! Bringing up that goofball's name to this music video is an insult to the 80's! Do not... do that again... =)

  • @Quamlen Justin Beiber isn't a song, it's a person, and the only reason that kid is popular is because people like you continue to carry his popularity throughout comments like that.

  • @Quamlen justin bieber isnt a song

  • My favorite part of this song is that part in the middle where she sings,"Whoa-whoa-whoa!" I could listen to her sing that every single second of my life. Her voice is like hearing something that's greater than heaven.

  • I think this is the best version. I thought the same thing years before I got into or knew anything about Kim Wilde or her music.

  • i jam to this song in my combine

  • "vanilla fudge" is the original band who plays this song in the 60s , and it's awesome,

  • dianna agron

  • apla exairetiko..............

  • The 80s set the precedent for what music has become today!!

  • amazing :))

  • wow this song fits...='[

  • Sad but true.

  • Kim had a lot of great songs in the 80s and in the UK had the most of any UK femaile in the UK charts as well as huge hits all over the world, and If I cant have you and others in the early 90s, how anyone can compare a female singer to groups like The Cure, Joy Division who had hardly any success at all and B52s who had nothing in common with KW is totally laughable.

  • i personally think of how great a singer Vortex is from Dimmu

  • Only thing i can think of when i hear this song, is Dimmu Borgir! xD

  • they were kinda ideots, aren't they?

    hhhhhhhhhhhh

  • According to what all you 80's nostalgics say, every single 80's song is a knock-out. If you're honest to yourselves just one second, you'll admit you can't put on an even scale real awesome bands like Cure, Joy Division, B52's... and second-class artists like Kim Wilde. Even if she made a few good tracks, this one is just a weak cover and sounds like 99% of the commercial shit produced back then.

It was quite common in the 80's to cover the 60's, but rarely for the best (ex: Phil Collins).

  • @MrSinnermann maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan u talk tooooo much

  • One thing for sure I would never just keeping her hanging on.

I would never broke up with Kin if I had her in my life.

  • this is the song of my life at the moment

  • To me this is the album where her musical style "dropped off." Love her 1981-1984 albums the best. However, this is one of her best songs, period. I know it's a cover but this is my favorite version of this song. Mainly because her vocals are beyond divine. I can listen to that part where she sings "whoa whoa whoa" all damn day. That's one thing that always remains consistent with Kim though. Her singing was/is always beautiful.

  • I was born in 1993, but i really wished i could have experienced the 80s

  • sampled by Pound sterling!

  • good stuff!!

  • My favorite version's vanilla fudge's, by far...but this is a pretty catchy if cheesy 80's tune :P

  • im so sad about that i was born to late ..im 16 years old ...my mom says that this was the best time :(

  • @missdjselektro1 Hey the song still exists, and you get to listen to it without having to endure the eighties. Which were for the most part shyte, you just only hear about the good parts. Music for example, pick any week in the eighties and look at the record charts for that week, 99% of it will be shit.

  • @if5tatement I agree with you. To me, my personal opinion, the 1990's were better musically than the 80's. Mainly with Rock... However, when you do hear a good 80's song, it's like hearing the best song ever!

  • @missdjselektro1 Everybody says their generation was the best generation. 40 year olds say the 70's/80's. 30 year olds, like myself, say it was the 80's/90's. My 50 something year old parents say the late 60's/early 70's. My grandparents would say the 1940's. Etc. It's all about perception really. You will probably end up saying this modern era is the best! Who knows. Old songs usually do sound better though. Don't know why.

  • thx to extensive promo work for her new album, i remembered this song. it rocks haha.

  • Sexy hair!

  • this blast my ass away, every time I hear, 20 times this day. gigga

  • i herd that song in Abrocombie

  • Not to take away from the original version by Diana Ross & the Supremes but I like Kim Wilde's version better cause its up beat & you can dance to it & really get a feel of the song!

  • This goes out to my SLAVEMASTER!

WHAT'S a MASTERMIND when there is NO TRUTH to his "PERSONA"?!?!?!

SOON it's no longer himself...but a MONSTROUS CREATION he's CONCOCTED!!

"why don't you be a man about it?" (lmao) BE YOUR damn SELF!!!!

  • Best vid EVER!

  • i love this song

  • yes having just learned that the original song belongs to Supreme-Diana ross, I now appreciate Kim Wilde cause besides being good song, its a really good cover..

  • I think she got better with age.

  • Gotta love that hair!

  • UNIQUE, SO TRUE!

  • I think she's very Sexy....

  • @dashghostman Yeah she is gorgeous...amazing eyes.

  • this is nice . the supremes version is slow , this one is okay , glee's version is fast . i like .

  • Best version.

  • They can't all be Vanilla Fudge.

  • love it!!!!!1

  • I REMEMBER THIS VERSION MOM!

  • I first heard this in a Men's Suit Store, and Im like, MY GOODNESS, THE 80's SNARE!!!

  • @PayneIsGod First thing I thought too hahaha

  • I'd like to hear this song sang with some serious gutsy vocals.

  • The 80's Rocked!!! Good Times!

  • One of the all time feel good songs when Kim is singing it.

  • @SpainishArcher Kim's version is the best.

  • nice remake

  • hate this version

  • @bernaazzz Love this version.

  • I looooooove this song!! x3

  • the glee version is way better

  • its the original just like the supremes im not suprised he kept her hangin on the way she ruined this song

  • sh'''t so cool song

  • I'm 18 and I use to masturbate to this song when I was 8. God, I use to cream a lot.

  • wtf man

  • I know, right? WTF, Man!

  • thumbs up though on coming clean

  • I really love Mina's version of this song!

  • I'm 16 and i'm in love with this song

  • one of coolest songs ever!

  • a great song...everyone has different taste in music so there is no need to discus some stupid things...I really like the song and I posted it in my facebook profile...just it has a nice lyrics...

  • @ulash1912 And Kim Wilde nails it!

  • great version.........

  • Love the cheese!

  • This is da SHIT!

    she's HOT too~

  • cmon, you know whenever this song comes on the radio on your local 80's station, you crank this song up to the max volume and sing along, even if your'e a dude

  • Damn right!

  • @jackmeoff628 ya tottally jack me off knows all about that shit...

  • @jackmeoff628 I'm a heterosexual dude from the US. And I fuckin love her and her music!

  • Music is a matter of opinion. Now shut the fuck up.

  • Diana ross and the supremes

  • Whats with the debat?. Its a wonderful slice of big haired 80s nonsense. It is what it is, and no more. Just enjoy it.

  • Another great 80s electronic version is by Colourbox. Well worth a listen. Its here on youtube.

  • its agreat vid honestly i dont care who wrote it but this song is kick ass

  • sorry, but you speak before you think, I was only browsing, like most people on you tube, Rod Steward Rules, and this artist is just trying out her version of Rod's original version because she does't have any originality......herself lol

  • How can you say that she lacks orginality when this is a ramped up pop version of a very slow song. It's actually remarkable different than Rod's.

  • rod stewart's version is the best.

  • This version blew Rod's away. This is far more memorable. That's why you're here.

  • to each its own, Rod Steward and The Supremes blew Kim away.... personal opinion lol

  • I bet ya this song charted higher and longer than Rod's version!

  • 2:03

I love her voice. I could listen to her say "whoa whoa whoaaaah whoaaaa" all day long.

  • i love it shes soo fascinating and its soo tru wat it says.. i can relate to the song..

  • Me too. I can relate. Except I replace the word "man" with the word "woman."

  • Great remake... fun disco song... love it

  • Comment removed

  • this version is awesome as well as the Diana Ross one, but I'm pretty sure there's also a dude version of this

  • The original song is: The Suprimes - you keep me hanging on - 1966. it's sixtees song not 80

  • Wow! never knew this song's a cover. Kim's version is much better though.

  • if you think so...

  • bellissima ,grande Kim!

  • 80s music gives me those tingles that mean that i had just heard something EPIC

  • ye fuk she was fit then was a good tune in 80s

  • damn i love 80s why couldnt music be as good these days!!! :( kim is perfection shes soo beautiful

  • haha, this is a cover. 80's were still chill though.even tho the 60's were probably the best

  • OMG, she looks like Linda Hamilton when she starred in "The Terminator" in 1984.

  • Love it

  • was this song done in the 1980's?

  • 1987
