  • this is very similar to crossfit. although, you cannot try to compare anything to crossfit solely on one workout. crossfit is very diverse and always changing

  • @ProFilerConsulting. I have an idea, how about you go to Iraq and do this workout then I'll give them credit.

  • badass workout, but the music is terrible

  • @ReluctantZer0 really? this is one of the best songs of all time!? haha

  • cool deal

  • good stuff brudda!

  • your not flipping the tires the right way,you shouldnt deadlift them you should be in a 3 point stance and run the tire up.But great workouts you guys are doin and in that enviroment crazy stuff guys thanks for serving and posting great videos

  • @teamartificial Where does it say that using a "3 pt stance" is the right way? Show me the hard copy. The general idea is to move the weight. Dude is not inviting any injuries doing it deadlift style, either. You dummy.

  • O, I love it and HIM! :)

  • Everyone who likes this one would like my other one more. At least in my opinion, it was a better workout.

  • Cool workout bro!

  • Guys, would you help me with the name of the song that plays with the video...Thanks!

  • Ballbreaker - AC/DC

    Best band in the world!!

  • stags your so fucking gay for putting this up on youtube, jk bro

  • A lot of 'old timers' (myself included) don't like to wrap outdoor PT in the CrossFit "Package". Its always been crosstraining in my opinion. CF came along and tied standards and did a great job of marketing....if it got people off their butts great....CF is a buzzword just like core, engage, functional, Spartan anything

    Bottomline: That's an outstanding workout!!!!

    Rangers Lead the Way!

  • Nice workout! In 112 degrees? You are the man! But it does look like a Crossfit type workout to me. Whats the diffrence?

  • It's kind of like crossfit but you use more conventional weights and do movements to make certain exercises easier in Crossfit. Such as kipping. I also don't use any weights, but use thigs that are used in everyday hard labor jobs and such. Oh and Crossfit is too easy.

  • I think you have kind of a limited idea of Crossfit. I'm not sure where or with whom you trained Crossfit with, but I'm sure there are probably some people not doing it the way its supposed to be done. I use sledge, kettlebells, climbing rope, tractor tires, heavy bag, etc,. Too easy means you just did not go heavy enough, do enough reps, push for time, or have challanging enough exercises. I was just giving you some complements on what you do, not looking for you to belittle something I do.

  • Ah man I wasn't trying to belittle you in any way man. Iv'e dont some crossfit and some of it is good shit. I just think that what the workouts that I have created have taken it to a higher level. For instance, do all the crossfit workouts that have pullups or dips and don't do any kipping. Do cointroled, full range pullups and dips. Sorry if I came accross like an ass.

  • No hard feelings. Communicating via blogging looses something during the process. Things can get taken wrong. Yea, I think what we are doing is probably not you typical Crossfit routines. The guy that runs it gears a lot of it towards MMA . We have Ju jitsu, Muay Thai. boxing, and even some Judo players training here. So yea we do ring dips, weighted pull ups, power lifts, etc.. Getting ready to do a Fight Gone Bad fundraiser for Fallen Warriors and Athletes against prostate CA tomorrow.

  • hey bro sorry to chime in here, just wanted to correct you on the kipping pull-up, they don't use it because it's easier, they use it because they find it to be a more functional practical movement, because ya know the whole posterior chain involvement and all that jazz, think you're stuff is great too though

  • @stag12911 it's a lot more interesting than doing a bunch of sets of reps at the gym. (Although I must admit I do enjoy all the eye candy there.:-)
