It is not a Boeing 707, it is a Boeing KC-135 Air to Air refueling tanker, it was developed independently from the 707, using concepts proven in the Boeing 367-80 proof of concept flying experimental aircraft. It does look very similar to the 707, but has different fuselage, the news reporter/station should be ashamed for not doing their research

There are some serious flaws to this report. The most blatant is that a Boeing 707 aircraft has four engines - not 2 (see skid trail). Second, the engine is not a J79 which are on all 707's. The owner of record is listed as Omega Aerial Refueling Services, Inc. Home office Arlington Virginia - can you say CIA? Omega says it has 3 planes - 2 707's and a DC-10 - this aircraft is none of the above. If it smells like a fish - a rotten one - then question everything - believe nothing!

@gr8dane1969: if this was an ex-AF KC-135A--based on a 707 airframe--the engine pod remaining on the starboard wing is indeed correct. Many KC-135As in front line use with the military were re-engined to the CFM56 (F108) by Boeing a while back. Even if it was a 707 that had been later converted into a tanker, it would not be hard to fathom CFM56 engines being added as part of the conversion. As for Omega's website: the planes listed is what they CURRENTLY have, not what they had.

However, if this was a re-engined aircraft, then the ones clearly shown on the Omega site are incorrect, as they are definitely J79 engined aircraft. Nothing on the Omega site indicates or says they have been uprated to CFM56 engines nor does their site show them as such in their video. Secondly and which you did not address was the owners of record - Omega Aerial Refueling is a CIA front
