@ShaniceLavery hey dude, it was for art, so it was more about creating imagery, a lot of the shots are references to other art works. it was like i did a lot of filming, like maybe hours of stuff and cut it down to three minutes. watching it now though, it kinda makes me think of the year i did my hsc.

I must say, congratulations on such a fine piece of work. It is certainly an inspiring and fascinating piece that you have created. Such vivid and enchanting imagery!

Everything was really spot on but I do have to criticise you for bringing in youtube and the mac computer into your project. Ruining the atmosphere with such things really cost you imho.

Anyhow, it was quite entertaining and you should be proud of yourself. Good luck in your endeavors whoever you are!

hey man i only used imovie 6. but i used it so often through the year that i got to know it really well. I reckon your marks will just reflect the amount of work you put in to your major work, just do it a lot, and try if you can to make references to other artworks it shows the markers that you know a bit. good luck man, let us know how it goes

not really, i gotta think of a new major work for the course i'm doing now and i'm kinda struggling. I get ideas from film stuff and planing, like this video has shots from stuff i filmed in like febuary 2008 and shots from august 2008, it only all came together when i added sound

That was brilliant. I am in the middle of the joy that is the HSC BOW for VA. And yeah, im screwed. I saw Art Express in Newcastle and there were some amazing works, but also sonme kinda dodgey ones. Kinda worries me. But good work!

the thing about art films (as in concept driven only with no story line) are either really really good or bad... urs is fantastic haha... ive seen a few HSC art vids 4 2008 now and i really think that artexpress09 film stuff is going to be really really good next yr... some stuff is absolutely amazing! and the best bit is that everyones is different! so i hope we all get 2 c each other at artexpress :p

well my work happens to be on ur "related list" its called I am Edvard... its a stop motion film that deals with how audience interpretations create the true concept and meaning behind an artwork... so the films about my interpretation and understanding of Munchs "the scream"... its got some aspects that relate to me but overall i created a character and i kind of morphed into it myself... for the technique i was inspired by "the periwig maker". it still blows me away to this day. GL in ur HSC!
