I resent Anglicans being lumped together with "Protestants" (in the section on the 39 Articles). We are protestant in the sense that we reject the abuses of the Vatican, but we are not Protestant. We accept Scripture, Tradition and Reason, and many Anglicans believe in the Real Presence

We even get surprises at our diocesan TLM now, though. The priest will say the Introit and Post-Communion in English. He also has an altar server (a permanent deacon) read the Epistle and Gradual/Alleluia at the Low Mass (in English only). And the priest reads the Gospel only in English and facing the congregation. The spirit of invention and choice is now adversely affecting the beautiful Tridentine Mass unfortunately. (The closest all TLM parish is 1.5 hours away, but I am trying to go there

For me, the worst aspect of the New Mass is that you never know what you're going to get. It might even be different week to week at the same building. How sad. I like surprises, but not at Mass.
