i have depression and anxiety when i drink the next day i literally feel like killing myself. I agree with u almost a hundred percent man preach it. marijuana needs to be legalized it's the only medicine that really helps and I've tried plenty of prescribe medicine. I don't want manufactered bs pills that usally make me feel worse if nething. All I want is herbal medicine in the form of marijuana without having to worry about getting shot or arressted. we will never stop smoking so legalize it

Mm only 14 and have been noticeably depressed for atleast a year. In the past week it has gotten much worse. I m going to the doc next wed , but i dont want to take dangerous perscription drugs that might not work and might have unwanted side effects. I started using cannabis last year and i felt much better in life (i actually felt good emotion). i havent used it in a while, but i feel that it would help my numbness. how should i talk to my doc about this alt. medicine?

So what if they "want" to control you? So what if it's illegal? Do you think that will stop people obtaining it? If weed was legal we would have an epidemic of cannabis abuse. I know people who have smoked weed all there life and have never been charged. How would someone get caught smoking at home? Cannabis is very good for treating my anxiety and depression (I used to take medication) but the majority of people abuse it. If someone truly wanted medicinal weed they would eventually find it.

ben's right though. think about it. caffeine, sugar, alcohol, tobacco... productive and law-abiding citizens who do not question "authority". And to be honest, abuse of everything leads to trouble, and it's not any different with weed.

I think one way to get this done is to convince people (and many top economists have already agreed with this) that cannabis can be a source of income, taxes, and jobs - not to mention the medicinal benefits. It would actually HELP the economy.

I can't but agree on what the people says. Hang in there bro. Cannabis is miscontrolled at the current state. It doesn't kill people, it doesn't make you all that rowdy like alcohol does for example. Some people claim it's a gate to heavier drugs. That might be, but I'll also then claim that tuna sandwiches can be a gate to heavy drugs. Anything can be. On the other hand, most people know how to control themselves in a reasonable way. But we can't choose, we are instead controlled by others.

i suffer from the same symptoms of depression and was introduced to weed and my depression and anxiety was drastically lowered, i have received prozac as a medication but have had no luck the only thing that calms my suicidal thoughts or depression is weed... these laws must change god bless

I live in exactly the same way. I suffer from extreme insomnia, and as a knock effect from that minor deppression. Both these problems are cured with just a small joint before I sleep. Where's the harm in that?
