To hear Rauschenberg talk about AE's needing time to feel sorry for themselves is a joke. Especially coming from a guy who got famous from ERASING a De Kooning picture-- EXPRESSION is feeling--whether it's good or bad--Rauschenberg sucks!!!

yes yes amazing talent&passion but there is something missing in this artists maybe it's the suffering and what not .Chuck Close is an ironic example of an artist losing his hand movement and still paints!!!that's passion.

"Painters Painting" is a great document of postwar modern American painting! Congratulations to Emile de Antonio for the great work! It's wonderful the doc is available on dvd now, thanks to Mystic Fire Video.

Always Americans seeing the monetary way in art. My god! Thats why i prefer European art and Asian. WHAT A DUMB CULTURE, but i must recognize that is the super power market in the world.
