I like 6 an 3 tied an thn 5,4,1,2, now 3 isnt always as good as six but i think ny failings in acting or stryline r compensated for by the insane amounts of action in it....not to mention the dramatic turn to darkside downfall n such.

What was once one of the greatest sci-fi cinematic masterpieces of all time...is now a butchered mess and the worst of all six films.

The revised jabba dance scene was fucking awful and the cgi-beak in the pit-monster looked shit. "Noooooo!" and replacing Sebastian Shaw were the final nails in the coffin.

George Lucas - its dangerous for me to say you cannot fuck this film up any more than it is, because you manage to do it on every revision!

@SamusDrake thank god for the 2006 release that contained the original unaltered versions. They may not be remastered but they're still the better than these new versions with all the bullshit changes.

Agreed! I was fairly happy with the 2006 updates for ANH and ESB, but was very grateful to have the original versions too. They might well be from laser-disc transfers, but they are good enough.

the jew Lucas destroy his own creation whit this movies,he copy of many other films,but anyway,his creation was good,the 4 episode an 5 was good, but 6 was, like Mark Hamill say " we made a movie for children" a bad episode, full of jokes, tiny tedy bears, and a ridiculous line of acting, but, amazingly, the history was great anyway, was sad, was epic, and was victorious, unbeliebable, was a tale of a family, a life redemption and triumph of good, will be good than film the entire trilogy again

Return of the Jedi is my favorite. Then The Empire Strikes Back, then A New Hope, then Revenge of the Sith, then the Phantom Menace, and I hate Attack of the Clones.

@OKKOSCHONTEs Totally agreed. Supposedly, it's closer to what George envisioned, but the old version of the scene was fine the way it was. When I first saw that new version, I cringed and winced in pain. I can withstand Jar Jar, even! But that scene was just intolerably lame.

favourite is revenge of the sith. return of the jedi is just a hairsbreadth behind it. as much as i enjoyed episode 5, i think i prefer episode 2 (i sense a flamewar coming) because of the moments padme and anakin shared together. seeing them really touched my heart and i was so sad to see them separated in episode 3
