I could'nt do this even if I tried to do this for years lol what you're doing thier is magic, I gotta learn how to play the keys, but the thing is I think im lazy I got the time to learn but I don't for some reason, what way do you recomend learning to play the keys without paying for an instructer? books? video tutorials? dvds help me out bro and thanks.
dude loved this tip about the translator.. nice stuff and f it.. why people are so envyous .. if he can't play why the heck does he need to be so stupid.. right.. great playing dude.. and after all the synth is yours do wtfe u want rite.. :)
I believe that Rick Wakeman used one. I love this synth. I have a Korg i4s, a Roland SH-101, an Akai AX-80, and a Moog little phatty, but korg is my favorite digital synth.
I think the keys are pretty tough, but an octave down i hit the keys WAY too hard one night, and the middle G smashed in two - i glued another key onto it from my Roland D70 and it works fine. I don't think that it's meant to be played that hard, but so far it's lasted 6 years of abuse.
Nice playing, but lay back off the keys a bit! You're way too heavy handed on a synthbed. I looked at your other vids and all I can suggest is a weighted keybed for your playing style.
rolands are way more reliable. i own both and the keys to my roland xp80 have definitely taken more bashing than the korg ms2000b and their in better condition. the ms2000b feels kinda wierd at the moment..
really? i have a roland d 70 which is in seriously bad shape - after a while some of the keys stopped working - which also happened to my mates JV - My old Korg M1 on the other hand lasted 15 years of my smashing it to bits with no problems
my XP80 literally has taken alot of smashing, and to use the after touch you really need to push down HARD on the keys, i infact try not to use it because im scared the keys might snap, but they never have!
ha you noticed ! i smashed the keyboard too hard during a gig and it went flying - so i had to glue half a key on from my Roland D70 (which is knackered)
what's the name of the effects u put to do this sound?

@308beatZ thanks, try some tutorials on youtube - I've been teaching some kids, and used them for a few ideas - they go right from the very basics

Actually the keys are a little like this on the Karma. Just look an octave down, and you'll see some of the keys are a little messed up...
Think this is kinda crappy for a synth that expencive.

hey that's why I bought a Korg - they're (virtually) indestructible - not like a Roland - which falls apart as soon as you breathe on it

interesting. Maybe you guys just got unlucky :(
or Roland was slacking with the JV and D series.
