Hi. It's called Newplast, basically its Plasticine like you use for modelling as a kid. It's dead cheap, easy to use, and comes out of the mould easily without any release agent.

Not sure what sort of rubber you mean, but latex moulds are good. It can make it easier, because you can cast by pouring all over, then just cut your mould in half.

I worked in a small factory in London doing this sort of thing,but we would use a liquid rubber for the mold

and a Vac and pressuriser.
