(1) you can acivate it personally,but ur sim has to be activated by it's original company or u can use an unactivated sim and do it urself --- there r videos of it on YouTube ---..

(2)it is almost the same as iPhone 4 only dat there is no facetime which even needs WIFI to be performed, so I highly recommend this phone...

Apple makes great phones but their OS for computers blows... It's the most unstable POS I've ever used.. IDC if it doesn't get viruses you'd have to be a retard to get a virus anymore. But in other hands I'm getting the 3gs 8gb tomorrow. With the 25/mo 2GB data plan.

To improve the battery life try conditioning it.

I do this about the first of every month.

It's where you fully charge it the night before and during the day you use it so much until you get in the red or until it dies. And then you charge it and DO NOT use it while its charging.

You may not believe me but you really should see a difference.
