  • HOAX 2:11 where's the NWO flag? LOL

  • Wow, that was pretty damn amazing, honestly, it's the first student film that was actually interesting. Absolutely amazing, great job. A+

  • nice cgi

  • i randomly watched this, i randomly wanked to this.

  • nice skater shoes and jeans

  • I notice that in nine of these versions does the traveller feel the need to take a few changes of underwear..The mind simply boggles.

  • wow

  • That's Chesapeake City Hall! Where did you go to school?

  • this sounds dumb, but i gotta' ask. i am57 yrs. old and a huge sci-fi fan. i was a kid during the '60's and an avid reader of ''famous monsters of filmland'', edited by forest ackerman, who just recently passed. i am familiar with the details of the time machine from the rod taylor film of 1960. yours is the same machine. the only real difference i see is the vinyl padding on the 'pilot's' seat instead of felt. question...how did you duplicate the original time machine and sit in it.

  • it probably is a picture of a model added in with some green screen effects

  • This is amazing. Very impressive work and entertaining. Not many student films are entertaining...believe me...I've been in my share of student films. Haha. But this was really fun to watch. Did you compose the music?

  • Very well done! Great use of film and mood-music. I think you havce a real career ahead in the film industry...

  • This was very interesting- but it does leave me full of questions. I know this was just a project for a class and not much was required to get it done- but I do wonder what exactly the character experienced on his journey. I wish there was a written description on something that explains what all he went through later on. I am curious to know if he actually did anything in the year he had arrived- and then traveled further ahead where the action of the story really began. Any eloi and morlocks?

  • yess no white cave apes in the future...yess nuke europe

  • fuck off. Europe has every right to live just as you or I do

  • Awesome.

Took me a while to realize it was "amateur", what ever that means, This is NOT an example of amateur.

Fine attention to detail shot sequence. lighting, Impressive. =c=

  • Brilliant! This is fantastic, I really loved the B&W opening...and the music fits in perfectly with the tone...I just bassically love this!

  • Fantastic combination of visuals and superb music. Cheers to you sir.

  • wow really nice!

  • That was very good!

  • This was an amazing video! Good Job!

  • What is this song by the way?

  • that's the music from tim burton's big fish

  • Wow. im really annoyed with myself now. I should have known that. I love Tim burton.

  • This is really great! Did you copyd paste picture's on every frame from 01:17 to 02:00? Wow.

  • I think he used greenscreen, because that would be REALLY time consuming.

  • I know, but he say's that it take him so much time I beleave he didn't use green screen.

  • haha i wish i did...it was painstaking frame-by-frame work

  • Wauw man, impressive! :O I did such a thing ones and those 1.5 minutes or so took me like forever to make.

  • holy ship!!! OMG that is like a real vid plz make it a new version of the time machine

  • Absolutely beautiful. The beginning had a very nostalgic, sort of rustic feel to it. As if it had been made in the Victorian age, using old film. The big where you superimposed your figure over the time machine (with the flickering edges) had a very good effect. Very well done I must say.

  • this is awesome but what is the song its simply breathtaking

  • lol it's either the 1960's version just turned into the 2007 version or santas sledge as come early this year

  • The orginal Time Machine framework as made from a sled! Buy the DVD and it shows the blueprints and how it was made.

  • Well done! I can tell this took time, effort, and imagination and the results... well hopefully, you will be making films one day.

  • wow a radio flyer

  • Excellent bro! You have quite the talent! What was the song?

  • Hey man i think that was a really cool piece you got there. I just happened to stumble across and find it, but it was neat. If i had all the equipment i'd be doing the same thing. Right on man.

  • Excellent piece. I loved the futuristic city that combined present day architecture alongside the future building, equipment and aircraft/spaceship advancements. I loved the pacing. You surprised me rolling out the wagon only to see you had brought out the time machine. You've definitely got the gift so many wannabe filmmakers think they already have; keep up the great work, looking forward to more and original films from you. Thanks for posting. Time Machines forever...I want a ride.

  • This song sounds too perfect. Title and artist, please?

  • nice one jake

  • wow, how the eff did u do the time machine thing when u freakin sat in that? holy crap dude ur an amazing editor, film maker, and actor.

  • ok do u know for sure?

  • yeah i am almost positive

  • ok cool

  • Nice effects. But in 11 hours you could have built something that looks like a time machine.

  • loL! nooo! it was more the arts i did this

  • Oh, ok then, great effects. You could make a great Vietnam movie. Like a bunch of guys loading into a Huey. Just thought but it would be awesome.

  • like omgz that was sooo fake. You have to be really stupid to believe that he just went in a time machine. Durrrrrrrr.

  • ok...you must have been mad that day...everyone loved this video, Kaleb. don't start this again! it was a video project for school. it's not really supposed to look that real anyway if you would think about it. It's supposed to be in the artsy section....plz don't be this way about it...i'd like to see the amount of work u would put into it....i spent 11 hours on one scene...

  • jeez, you couldnt tell i was joking? Would i honestly ever say omgz if i was being serious?

  • Ok really good again, now is this a new show starting? Is this just the Sneak Peak for the show, because theres not as much of story line?

  • no just a project short for school

  • ok.....???

  • i love the music it matched so perfectly wats the name of the song?

  • It's from the film Big Fish I think?

  • yes your right

  • Wow Jake!!! That was very well done! Great choice for the music too, it really fit the feel of the video!

You should get an A+ for this!

  • holy crap jake how did you do that? the effects are amazing, and did you get a new camera?

  • an 8.1 mega pixel camera...i'll tell u how i did it if you you get off lacey sholders loL! jk
