I still have my vroom dump truck, I think I will put in the 4 "D" batteries and be a kid again. even though a snail could out run it. it does a good job scaring my dog. how the engine noise is made is really pretty cool.
I had a VROOM Bike as a Kid. I wonder if Mattel made it as well...probably did. Funny thing is it required assembly and no one at home could figure out how to assemble it, so it sat in the box for days after Christmas. Finally, the late Pat Marita (you know him as Mr. Miyagi), who was an up and coming stand up comic at the time and a friend of the family, visited one weekend and asked why I wasn't riding the bike. When I told him, he proceeded to assemble it in about 15 mins and I was set
