@china4151986 When you base an entire show around nothing but how sexy your main character is, eventually the joke will run its course. We get it Julia, you are hot. That isn't enough to form a whole sitcom around. The problem with "The New Adventures of Old Christine" is that it only drew a younger make audience. Women don't want to tune in to watch Julia Louis-Dreyfus shake her big booty and bounce her large breasts around. The show lacked substance, that is why it was cancelled.

Her character was a narcissist, and not even an intelligent one, THAT is what the show was written around, and THAT is why it was a success. Any great show is going to run its course after five or six seasons and that's the way it should be. Learn some character development before you comment on things you don't know about.

Julia Louie Dreyfuss does not have the talent to carry a show and this show is living proof of that. You'd figure after riding the coat tails of talented men on Seinfeld she'd at least be able to recognize quality writing but I guess not. I have watched a few episodes of this show during it's prime time slot at 2 am and have been offended at how atrociously un funny this program is. This is bad television at it's finest and Julia Drefuss's and her ugly oversized face needs to retire.
