  • For the 6000th fucking time, trypophobia doesn't exist!

  • @Conkern65

Might as well say no phobia exists.

It's all in our head after all...

Personally this makes my skin crawl, but I'm not to the point of a psychological disorder. lol

  • @Conkern65 HA, i knew I saw you here :D

And I'd never heard of trypophobia until I watched this video, lol.

  • @LySeRgIa2 Thats because it doesn't exist ... lol

  • @Conkern65 haha what? how does it not exist? just because a phobia is irrational doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

  • Is this stuff on this video real?

  • @ICExCOLDxSUNSHiNE ......yep

  • whatever this is, it's cool

  • Man, one of the ugliest and scariest, and nastiest things I can think of is the goings on inside of a pomegranate...............The things in this video reminded me of that....I'm gonna go puke now....

  • Guys, theres a phobia for everything. A few people were afraid of holes and cracks and clusters and then someone decided to come up with a name for it. However, like every other mental illness in the universe, people read about it and somehow work it into them that they have it. They slowly convince themselves that its true. I've done it before. I just read about trypophobia and as I was reading it I got a shudder down my spine, but then I realized I didnt have it, I was just imagining it.

  • @rubies3598 Uh, yeah... but I knew I had Trypophobia before I knew that it was called like that.

  • @Deroni76 Yeah, not saying it isn't real.

  • Comment removed

  • i have nightmares after these plants. THEY HAVE EYES. AND THEY ARE BLINKING. thats fucking scary. (the music however is quite good)

  • so high..

  • walls have ears? Well, plants have EYES :D

  • it's more like ophthalmophobia

  • is this an official video that aaron funk made?

  • amazing

  • i LOVE this song...

  • watching pictures like this makes me itch and sweat, strangely this vid doesn't. these look natural, not like some terrible infection.

  • @krampusz It's called Trypophobia. It's pretty common.

  • @dag101101 @dag101101 It doesn't esist! It was just made up some day! There is no medical proof!

  • @Conkern65 Lmao. I know it's what you call "made-up", but that's referring to the official term. The condition is real. Are you claiming that we're all lying? Retard.

  • @dag101101 I am not claiming that you are lying, I am claiming that you are all succumbing to a condition known as "Psychosomatic Idiocy", or in laymens terms, "You Are Stupid".

  • @Conkern65 How are we stupid for having an irrational fear of something? Everyone has a phobia, which means you do too. Does that make you stupid?

  • @dag101101 It isn't an "irrational fear" it is Non Existent! Someone had the creepy Weepys when they saw a boil, and invented a condition to condition that condition. AKA, someone made something up. It isn't Fucking Real mate! Don't you understand anything?

  • @Conkern65 I see you've refined your trolling skills since we last met. Bravo!

  • @dag101101 I am NOT a troll, I am just spreading the truth.

  • @Conkern65 You've already proven yourself. Don't over-do it :|

  • @Conkern65 All mental illnesses "did not exist" until they were observed, documented and categorized. Take Münchhausen Syndrome by Proxy, a condition where a parent is compelled to harm their child, often simulating illness, in order to foster dependency or get attention.

Did some woman read about it in the DSM manual and decide to start abusing her child or did the mental illness predate it's naming?

  • @guruatomik I understand, but comparing Munchhausen and Trypophobia are not nearly the same! Lets say I have a fear of slipping on butter in the shower while brushing my teeth, I will call it "Sliponbuttshowerteethobia" and it exists just because I am stupid and have a fear?

  • @Conkern65 If it triggers the classically defined elements of phobia behavior according to psychological standards it sort of exists. There's no reason to name it because it's a very unique and it won't come up again.

If the fear of slipping on butter in the shower occurs in multiple patients and causes some real effect, like panic attacks or something it would totally exist.

Trypophobia could be disregarded if hundreds of people didn't have a serious reaction to it, but they do.

  • @guruatomik What if this outbreak of idiocy- I mean Trypophobia, is actually just psychosomatic, people just read on the internet about it and decided they had it either out of stupidity- I mean Hysteria?

  • Psychosomatic disorders are totally in the realm of psychology. Unlike a physical maladies where evidence of symptoms is different from perceived symptoms in psychosomatic disorders the border is fuzzy for mental problems. Once you eliminate the possibility that someone is acting crazy for attention or fraudulent reasons what's the separation? What's the difference between someone who has all the symptoms of a psychosis and someone who exhibits those symptoms because they believe they'repsycho?

  • @Conkern65 My sister and I have had trypophobia since we were kids. We're now in our 50's and 60's and it wasn't given a name until 2005. The internet wasn't created until decades after we discovered we had an aversion to clustered holes. People are now coming out of the woodwork saying they thought they were "alone", and Facebook has over 4,000 members in the trypo group. In the future, please refrain from insulting trypo sufferers with your ignorance.

  • SO MUCH TRYPOPHOBIA....must beat it!

  • ya know, I can kinda see a pattern here.

this video contains alot of unnerving eye like imagry kinda like how Trevor Brown uses them as a visual cue in his paintings. Trevor brown also did the art for several venetian snares albums.

  • COOL VIDEO!

  • This song reminds me of Nannou by Aphex Twin. Both are awesome songs

  • That's excactly what I thought!

  • fantastico...simplesmente fantastico

  • Excellentes les plantes aliens! et la musique aussi

  • Awesome clip! :)

  • thats not venetian snares as i know him.......

  • Yes, I didn't know him, and I heard other songs from him more aggressive.

But this song is very sweet and deep. Maybe Venetian Snare is the hidden twin of ... Aphex Twin ? ;-)

  • I applaud this notion.

  • Thanx, you seem smarter thant the person who didn't understand my comment and gave it a thumb down :-)

  • ^_^ your very welcome.
