Hi. Yeah it's become very popular. But over a long period of time. I'm now working as a freelance designer in motion graphics. So things turned out like I hoped. I'm more into music now and I work alot with house producers and venues with live visuals. Check my page for videos.

I usually don't like typography that also uses images--- namely because I like seeing what the text alone can do. But this is really well done. Tasteful graphics, great pacing, good audio. It runs almost like a commercial (and I mean that in a good way). Really well thought-out, good timing, and yeah. I like this :)

unless the narrator has a stuffy nose or what not he has a distinct "B" sound when he says 8 billion or million which ever the case i did understand your comment on how theres only about 7 billion people in the world, and how it would be impossible for there to be 8 billion in new york. In any case its a movie so they can propagate any random number they wish. Any who which ever the case it could be me mis-hearing the audio or you mis-hearing the audio at this point i dont care anymore. =)

he clearly says '8 million', and its not a random number... they use facts here.

but i think u are tricked because of the music, the bass probably made u hear a 'b' because of the bassy sound in the background at that moment.

do u have a subwoofer? try turning it off and watch again. :)

It's build with vector blocks. Placed in 3D space. Then I just orbit around with a camera.

Strange that there where just 3 million cell phone users of the 13 million new yorkers.. Seems kinda Middle Age to me.. In Sweden prolly 95% of the population has a cellphone.. and 99% of the 55 - 13 of age.. That figure is just a good guess of me. But i think I'm atleast almost right so it's strange that it's so different in NY anyhow with the cell usage.. I guess it lives lots of poor pll in NY then.
