ya, well all nay sayers piss off who dont know!!! Bob Daisley helped produce and write all the tunes on the first two albums. Not to mention all the awesome bass lines he played. He and Randy wrote the music and lyrics to Crazy Train. Sharon is shit, Ozzy needs to give him and Lee Kerslake CREDIT for helping "create" the Ozzy sound, not to mention the royalties due to him.

Just bought the re-issues today of "Bmizzard" and Diary" with the original drums and bass. What a difference! Bob played some really neat shit, as did Lee.

The 2002 re-recordings don't have that same magic that the originals do....Thank god I never bought the re recordings and I have the Originals on my iPod. I'm an ozzy fan, but what he did to Bob and Lee was the lowest of the low... and the fact that Sharon said that the re-recordings gave the albums a "fresh new sound" no. All they were is a giant middle finger to bob and lee. SMH.

The first 2 Ozzy Solo albums were fine the way they were recorded - Ozzy & Sharon decided they didnt like Kerslake & Daisley's contributions and decided to re-record the bass - and now what you hear sucks compared to the original tracks

@beowulven : I agree, but the least they could have done was have the same riffs played in slightly different tones......but they decided to let someone else record their "version" and it basically sucks completely. I guess that reflects on the musicianship of Daisley.Ozzy has said in interviews that Kerslake/Daisley were asshole to Rhoads, but we'll never know.Fact is it was most likely Sharon that made this call, b/c she is a vindictive bitch in business....plus she's a woman (that adds to it)

Mr. Daisley, I have always thought that you were one of the unsung architects of Hard Rock and early Heavy Metal. I learned about you simply because when I was a teenager I used read every word on every record I bought. Because of this thirst for knowledge of "who played/wrote/produced what", I discovered that your name kept coming up as bassist writer. Musicians like yourself and Cozy Powell, and Don Airey made a career out of making others sound really good. Thank you for the music. Dave
