  • no your hands should be perfectly behind the ball to hit hard shots and drive the ball, but you're right if you are UNDER the ball you will hit deep fly balls.

  • This is more of an ichiro style where he's just trying to hit a weak and barely single, pro's get under this pitch and take it out

  • His advice is for anyone who has no clue because he has no clue. He couldn't possibly be more wrong.

  • What if I want to send the ball out to the wall?

  • @StarJekker then don't do what this guy says

  • This is the worst advise/example i've seen EVER. Hands NEVER should be below the barrell. High pitch. Hands level with barrel. Lower pitch hands 10 degrees or more higher than the barrell.

  • @camani3 I think his advice is for people who don't hit home runs. He does say that unless you can power the ball 500 ft you shouldn't hit it up.

  • That is NOT how you should swing at any ball! You'll hit all grounders IF you're able to even hit it. 90% of grounders are outs. Don't get on top of the ball. Stay on plane with it. That's how you hit line drives! Go to Mike Epsteins web site and find a instructor if you want to learn how to hit.

  • Hes Hitting All With His Legs And Core...Clean Power!

  • Then your not swinging right

  • this seems wierd to me cause its like choping wood
