  • Leslie organ speakers are getting way too expensive, but how much is this unit cost?

  • @odinkomvoor Permission Granted.....Tony Defransesco has been using a Ventilator lately, instead of his 122.

  • what about effects chains and EQ? how does this sound in complex chains? how does it sound depending on the eq going in and out?

  • damn that sounds fucking good...

  • Hi....I hope you drop by yer site, so you can answer my questions....Is your guitar plugged directly into the Vent, or are you pre-amping it? It's hard to see on the video...thanks - GB

  • @Bertokia sorry.... I run the zen dirt box in front if i want it to sound a little dirty otherwise you can run it Straight ...there is a switch for overdrive on the vent so it is all in how you blend these factors.

  • I just got the Strymon Lex Rotary. Sounds f%@#ing awesome especially thru two amps in stereo. Even thru one in mono is pretty realistic. Lots of features. I'd like to compare the two sometime.

  • @57relic Hi, I own a Ventilator...to my ears the Vent's fast speed & overdrive sound more authentic than the Lex...having said that, the Lex is $200 cheaper, so both are at the top as far as Leslie sims go...way better than the Rotosphere.

  • @odinkomvoor How can one compare apples & oranges?

  • Let me qualify that....What are you driving the Vent with at the beginning of the video, before you kick in your overdrive? - thanks - George Bertok[ia]

  • May I ask, what are you pre-amping the vent with?...sounds great!

  • That's it, I'm buying one of these. Never heard of it until today but the search has ended. It's even cheaper than a Rotosphere. GREAT demo - I especially when you play it "Let It Loose" towards the end, that just sounds scarily spot on.

  • This is it...They've finally were able to do it! All the other rotary simulators are phony garbage compared to the Neo Ventilator. Dump them all, because this is the real deal. The inventor and company should get a Nobel prize for this one. :)

  • @lespaul667 I AGREE!

  • I must get one of these, as soon as I can afford one! I've had a H&K Rotosphere (not bad but very noisy), Boss RT-20 (ok on fast speed, but a bit synthetic sounding) and DLS Rotosim (better than the other 2 but single-note lines sound a bit thin, better on chords). The Ventilator certainly has that 'chewy' sound that a real Leslie has.

  • Very cool sound! But design is kinda ugly...

  • Great pedal. im a guitar player and have owned the real deals,a 122 and 147 and i am a snob when it comes to imitations. I know what a leslie should sound like cause i have used them in studio and live. This little box is the closest that technology will allow next to the real deal. Superb sound.

  • It would be nice if they could have made a quieter switch. Great sounding pedal though!

  • @78fenderPbass I've had one for about a month, and unless you're playing barefoot you can cover up the switch noise pretty well with your shoes.

It is a very pricey pedal for sure, but it's a 1-time investment and if you use it as much as I do it's worth every penny. Unless you enjoy hauling a piece of furniture to gigs, this is the closest you'll get to the real thing. And even with a real Leslie you need the right size room and loud amp to get the sound. The Vent is a godsend.

  • It needs an analog pedal (like a wah).

  • Would you say this is better than a Hughes & Kettner Rotosphere or a Destination Rotation? The H&K is noisy when you're gigging with a Bassman 4/10 at about volume 5 or so. The DR is less noisy but not as authentic. I know these Ventilators are way pricey...are they worth it?

  • That's a spicy meat-a-ball!! Great demo.

  • I had used the H & K Rotpsphere, original and MK II...and also a bunch of less authentic sounding ones. The original H & K had a great slow sound, but neither fast nor slow rotor speeds were adjustable - on the MK II the fast setting was adjustable, but it was a more noisy unit, and for some reason not as warm. The ventilator sounds even better than either H & K on my .65" computer speaker. I need to find one, but that is one impressive sounding unit in my opinion.

  • This pedal is disturbing. With the drive control it gets Clapton Badge, Badfinger, some Framton stuff and even Black Hole Sun(and Beatles). Best pedal I've heard in a long time! I am extremely picky and have lots of nice pedals but I've got to have one of these!

  • That bit at 2:34 pretty much killed me. I want one. It needs to be adjusted a little more subtly though but it was very convincing.

  • Hi, can someone let me know where the Neo ventilator leslie can be purchase from and it's price. waitin your reply

  • @hac2007 @hac2007, this 7"X7" piece of plastic is gently priced at $500. INSANE! It better do my taxes & rear my kids for that price... well, at this price they're "rearing" a lot of people.

    you can purchase it here:

    gand . com / store

  • @ThatsABiggon First of all, it's not plastic, it is a die-cast aluminum enclosure, very well-built and sturdy and will stand up to the rigors of the road. Secondly, a real Leslie will cost you upwards of at least twice as much, if not three to four times as much. The Ventilator is the most convincing simulator of its kind, weighs only a few pounds, and you can carry it in your hand.

  • Where are the American Dealers?

  • @glennc100 Gand music

  • Thanks for posting this, very convincing, got to be the best of Leslie Sims out there.
