Once your automatic transmission goes get it fixed and then sell that car as soon as possible.Within a year it will go again.Thats been my experience.
I have a question: I have owned many old cars in my life. I have had to have automatic transmissions rebuilt on "many" cars. I have used all different rebuilders....some a nation wide company all the way down to mom and pop rebuilders. "Why is it" that they "never" come back quite right. The shifting is always a little off or they shift hard in one gear etc. Is that just the nature of a rebuilt tranny.....you roll the dice and take your chances?
