  • My kind of music...good post..thanks!!

  • A song played fairly often by Don K Reed (DooWop Shop) and always enjoyed as this is one song I never got tired of hearing. Bring back groups like The Scott Brothers and radio shows like The DooWop Shop.

  • Excellent obscure song. Great lyrics also. An underappreciated group with many good sides!!

  • Had never heard of the group until I listened to songs that you posted by them. This really is what doo wop is all about, great vocals.

  • Nice doo wop !!

  • I agree on that

  • Interesting looking label, doesn't remind me of any other 50's labels.. good song, tho!

  • The record is an original from '59. The sleeve was an aftermarket product made sometime in the 70s, but it might actually be rarer than the record at this point.

  • this is Fantastic Doo Wop,everything it should be :))

  • GREAT SONG - I really love New York Doo Wop! Thanks PJ!

  • Thank you PJ, new one for me too.

  • This is totally new to me PJ - any details of date, group etc.?Nice little really bouncy song!

  • The Scott Brothers are a NYC group that were quite prolific, although they didn't score any top hits. This is from '59. They did another record on Skyline, although the label changed it's name to NYC Skyline (I'm guessing there was another Skyline records). They also recorded on Comet, FTP, Pik, Parkway and Ribbon. Their were also Scott Bros releases on Smash, Zachron and Scolaron and Fabor Records, but I haven't heard those and I don't know if those are the same group or not
