BAHAHAHA the cops on these marshes, the only cops on all these marshes don't even have a boat, so what can they do? It's always amazed me how the American govt claim wars on drugs yet they do nothing about the heroin production in these regions except help it. It's always been the way. Less than 3% of heroin manufactured in Afghanistan makes it to the US,this gives you an idea why they do nothing. Also the taliban banned opium production when they were in power,but the US war made it start again

Anything that is harmful to the body is also prohibited, so though it is controversial, many people consider smoking tobacco frowned upon or disallowed as well

Taliban stopped the production of drugs in Afghanistan. Iraq stopped smuggling drugs into Europe and the Arabian gulf. It looks to me that US invasions helps drug smugglers, smells like Vietnam all over.

Taliban suspended heroin production to appease the U.N. Meanwhile they stockpiled tons of it.  The price of heroin skyrocketed and Taliban was able to get 10X the price for their drugs. Taliban are shrewd businessmen.

I know Afgan farmers that told me, when Taliban first came to power they got rid of Alcohol and farming of drugs. Only the Northern Alliance used the drug farming to fund their weapons. U.N. is a failed system man, its the same as the one set up after WWI. They're doing that because their religion bans people from using narcotics, or even producing it.
