You could also do as I do, which is have a little chat to yourself, a discussion even. Mind they don't get out of hand though (as they sometimes do with me) because you end up having an argument with yourself which is very frustrating because you can never really feel satisfied about winning (also, it's quite difficult if you want to storm out of the room and slam doors etc)
