I think it"s very disturbing when the priest/childhood friend says " he was a believer" really?? REALLY??? He was a believer and a sick sadistic killer?......no sir you were fooled into thinking he was a believer.....big difference in my opinion!

@gPuRziaNb yes you have a valid point, but I believe he is refering to btk being a Christian, and yes I am assuming, but they are talking about a christian church membership, and then I say no , you cannot be a murderer of children and be a christian believer. But yes I do agree a child murderer could believe there is a God as much as anyone else. I shoulda made the distinction, about my point. My point is his friend seems to turn a blind eye to this man being a child killer.

@TheRealDeal848 Dennis Radar was a sick fuck pure and simple... He terrorised families and it's still felt now. I live in Southeastern Oklahoma and I know 3 grown children whose mother was killed by BTK. The kids let him in and he killed their mother. It messed them up,one is not all there now. I've done clinicals at a sheltered workshop he is in, he looks normal until he speaks, it's sad. BTK is satan himself and no amount of punishment will do.

@TheGLOCK40cal lol We all do but the thing is if a serial killer breaks into your house mine or anyone's the outcome will be the same almost every single time. Death to the owner :( They don't just break in.... When they decide to break in they will know every single thing about whoever their victim is going to be. When to do it and what time a person is most vulnerable. I would love to think I would get the upper hand too, but I would probably be killed.

I was disappointed in the ending. I was hoping they'd go more into detail about how the cops caught him. The investigation is always the best part. This documentary seemed to give Radar more credit than they gave to the police.

@marilyn007manson1 probably because it's kind of geared more towards the mind of dennis rader and not the btk case with the investigation involved. the title is 'the btk killer speaks' so the police involvement was just excluded entirely given the scope of the doc. i'm with you though, it bummed me out that they didn't even explain it in the slightest :/

If you want to convince yourself that he is a "fake christian" because you can't phantom that a christian could be able to do that (even though you did say that we are all sinners) because you can't hack it with reality than go ahead. Its just really sad.

@anderdorm It was not a question, it was a logical deduction. Fact is that the only thing one needs to do to be christian is believe in Jesus. That makes it quite different from queens or other functions. I can also turn this fallacious argument around: "You saying Rader wasn't christian does not make it so." The only one who can judge that is Rade and he said he was. And the best? Please!

I don't care or mind that your a christian, but when you proclaim "our people can't do such things; that is beneath us" than you just sound ignorant. Nobody (of any creed) understands rader and most sane people would say he is not a representative of christianity in general, but he was still a chritian. If that bothers you than you have a problem, not me.

@jceepf it has nothing to do with religion or race per se. Religion has nothing to do with it either, otherwise we'd have a SHITTON more serial killers than we do. Race may or may not play a part.. but i imagine it's more cultural expectations than anything. Culture.. i want to say culture has a lot to do with it.. but canada and america. Almost identical in culture. Yet canada has no appreciable serial killer population. America does. So i'm not sure that's the case either.

@jceepf They say it has to do with some sort of childhood trauma.. I don't know about that. I want to say it does and it probably does in SOME cases. But i think in OTHER cases it's a type of autism that hasn't been diagnosed yet. Some are sociopaths, sure. But many serial killers don't want to kill and DO have a conscience. They're just disconnected from everyone else to the point where they can ignore that conscience. That sounds like a weird kind of autism to me.

Perhaps a simpler explanation for you is that I call it as I see it or I call a spade a spade.
