Correct. UTI's are greatly exaggerated. Circumcision reduces it from 1 in 100 to 1 in 1000 for the first six months. We'd basically have to circumcise 100 baby boys to cure one case. Btw, this is based from an army study of premature babies with catheters! Women suffer far more infections throughout their whole lives. Hygiene......we teach our girls to be clean. People forget women produce smegma too. Circumcision......a solution searching for a problem.
The easiest way to change your opinion is to flip it. If you consider health benefits to removing part of your body, can you consider benefits to removing other parts of your body? Yes it's a given, one less part means one less part that can become a problem. Lack of toenails- no ingrown nails! Lack of breasts-no breast cancer! But where does it stop? Some people feel that foreskin is not a needed part but the grown men who have them don't feel that way...

The UK took up circumcision for entirely different reasons apart from the US. In the UK it started in the upper class as young males where stationed in the tropics, a requirement in order to later have a upper class job. Whereas the US started circ. in response to stop masturbation. Later the US changed from responsive to prevention medically.
The foreskin is the surrogate vagina that teaches the owner how best to please himself and his partner.
Religion is no excuse for child abuse. "Circumcision" isn't exclusively Jewish, and it doesn't make non Jews Jewish.
