You see when the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved, they were like conquered by Napoleon and called the Confederation of Rhine and when the Napoleonic wars ended, it became part of the German Confederation, then Prussia founded the North German Confederation which later became the German Empire which was the predecessar of Moden Day Germany. Get it?
