  • translated means napoleon is a total cocksucking turd. The total dwarf has to get revenge of being short by ordering armies around and having some sense of power. this is a common thing with dwarfs and anyone who feels phyisically inferior in the real world Now its been overtaken by the internet where a weak dwarf or anyone physically impaired can hide behind an alias and be all hard and bravado.

  • Napoleon is THE GENIUS MILITARY!!!!

VIVE LA FRANCE, DEATH TO ENGLAND!!!!

  • Christian Clavier is genius

  • speak english its the world langugage and i might understand you.

  • @zenoist2 English is my native tongue. but how dare you say the sooner other languages are extinct, the better. Language is an integral part of a culture, and i pray to God (remember english native tongue) that the minority languages stay strong and uninfluenced by english in their respective native countries.

  • Napoleon finally met Wellington at waterloo so we have some sort of comparision

    The result is predictable.

    Napoleon suffers a crushing defeat.

.Napoleon was a good general sure but Wellington was better.

If anyone thinks Napoleon is brilliant tell me about his 1812 Russian campaign and what made that the mark of genius?

  • @Granvela speak english man . its the works universal language. nobody gives a fuck for french. or any minority language. the sooner its extinct the better.

  • @zenoist2 Spanish is the second most used language dip shit not English fucking cocky dumb fuck, probably American.

  • wellington he wanted to be like napoleon! don't be stupid thi is the truth!

  • @zenoist2 wellington was better? prussian helpless, waterloo would be a new austerlist.

  • @ANTIHYTLERS Waterloo was FAR from an Austerlitz for Wellington

  • can someone write the full title and give download link pls

  • napoleon was the best general in the modern history.

  • Poor royalists.

  • Is this the scene representing Napoleon's return from exile in France?

  • @stevensonbak No, it represent napoleon before he was emperor and popular. In this scene, he fought wih royalists which were a threat to the french republic.

  • Don't think much of the lead actor but admire the script & cinematography here. Notice Napoleon's humanity; he refused to let the soldiers fire on the mob until the mob attacked first. A feature of his later career - he prefered to spare lives and even tried to pardon a German who came to assasinate him. Napoleon's valet remembered how many unfair/dubious sentences Napoleon reduced or remitted. "There is no power without justice" (Napoleon).

  • Look that, it's Napoleon in moscow, we can see a very big army. The "grande armée" is very beatiful !! /watch?v=7lJUko-M7D8&NR=1

  • I like Christian Clavier very much.He is the best actor starring Napoleon Bonaparte. This is my favorite film!! It's a pleasure to watch it!!!

  • very odd...jacobines make rebelliion, rojalsts make rebellion..Napolon is jacobine, in 1804 he becomes more rojalist...hm...

  • CANISTER SHOT!!!!

Napoleon was a dictator and a bloodthirsty butcher. A traitor in the Corsican Nation.

  • Napoleon Bonaparte is my favorite emperor of all time!!! He had a strong personality and he was able to do whatever he pleased!! Not so many people in history were like him I think.

  • what film is this?

  • Actually, this video called "Tullerias"for "Les Tuileries Palace" show the repression by Bonaparte of an attempt of a coup by some monarchists organisations in Paris, on the5th Octobre 1795. Bonaparte open fire on these people when they were near Saint-Roch church. 300 victims fell this day. Bonaparte saved the Directoire and was nicknamed the "Genral Vendemiaire", because of the name of Octobre on the new calendar. The plot of the protest was to invade the "Tuileries"

  • Well, we are left to suppose that everyone else enlarged its country's territory through diplomatic means only...and that results were always brillant (results for who, BTW ?)

Surely, Napoleon wasn't a scout cub, but matter of factly, nobody was...or is.

  • someone founded the subtitle for this film?

  • ...i dont think so

Napoleon never declared a single war and imposed 5 times peace to the British, Austrian, Russian and Prussian warmongers.

He's not the monster portrayed by British propaganda.

  • This series is awesome. Way better than that BBC piece of shit.

  • Napoleon was a fine man with some positives and some negatives aspects like every man. He was a powerfull general and he knew well about strategy and combat tactics. Thats why he almost always led his army and gained victories for France. He also got bad habbits when he was recognised as a result to be ignorant and fool in the battle of Baterlo. He thought that he was god. And history tought him that no man is more powerful than a god. In my opinion France has a good reason to be proud of him!

  • ALGUIEN SABE COMO SE LLAMA ESTA SERIE

  • NAPOLEÓN

  • Simplemente así, "Napoleón", de Yves Simoneau, con Christian Clavier.

  • I like that he advanced education, but that does not make up for the atrocities. Oh, and he gave us Americans a good deal on the Louisiana Purchase so that we could build an empire of our own. Gotta love that. But Obama is gonna take us to the top! Go OBAMA!

  • Power-hungry little man. Lunatic. His wife was a skank. WHY would people allow him to go so far?? The French have never had a clue.

    No more dictators, please...

    THE WORLD NEEDS BARRACK OBAMA!

  • LOL

  • What about the legal reforms he put forward... what about those?

  • what about the Napoleon Legal Code? the same code that was used as an example i most democratic goverments around the world, including the US, but anyway I agree that well he got to far once he taste the power

  • While it may be democratic in form, I think it did not offer democracy in its truest sense. Napoleon made the people think they were getting a good deal, but no dictator is ever good for the people or has their best interests at heart.

  • you are rigth about that, I think he started in the good way but as usual when someone taste so much power, they start thinking they do a good thing and then dont want to lose that power...some times 'cause they fear that what they did will be destroyed by anyone else, or just 'cause they get greedy about it. By the way I admire napoleon for the military part not for his moral,

  • Yes, in terms of his military expertise, no one can touch him, except Alexander the Great or Genghis Khan, also ruthless men. As they say, power corrupts. History shows this over and over again.

  • Don't be that stupid kattie , Napoleon was an Emperor , nothing to compare with Hitler or Staline. You are insulting one of the gloriest part of french history.American are really ignorant.

Fuck Obama,Fuck McCain Fuck the USA

  • Yes, he crowned HIMSELF emperor. That smacks of dictatorship, doesn't it? Do you insult the USA and our leaders because you oppose democracy and liberty? If ours is such a bad country, then why does everyone in the world want to come here? God Bless America!

  • when the republic call him he was there and keep theirs enemy away, he makes mistakes as everybody but he was not a monster as u say he follow his belief and the people loved him and not everybody wants to live in the usa

  • Sure glad I do. Only a little more than two weeks until the most important election in the world takes place!

  • i hope yr vote will be for obama ;-)

  • some saw napoleon as a tyran with no mercy some as a hero who restored order in europe and wanted to make it a super power

  • What the Hell? This isn't the Tuileries. False advertisement is what this is....Was an awesome movie though on A&E.

  • This movie was/is so brilliant ;) I bought it on DVD last week!

  • the original is in french

    it's a really great movie

clavier was just the perfect one for napoléon's role

  • Thats fantastic!! although I dont understand the language :P

  • Okayyyy !

  • io adoro napoleone!!!

  • The name of this is only "Napoleon" ???

  • yes its an A&E miniseries from 2000

  • J'adore Christian Clavier!!!!

  • Loved it, have it one dvd as well, i just think the battle scenes are a bit limited

  • Bello!

  • what's the title of this movie? please, anyone could you inform me about this movie?

  • The name is Napoleon (Lol), I found a description of the movie: The epic story of Napoleon Bonaparte's rise to power is the subject of this lavish, epic production. Directed by Yves Simoneau (NUREMBERG) and featuring a stellar cast that includes Christian Clavier, Isabella Rossellini, Gerard Depardieu, and John Malkovich, discover how a meager soldier rose to become one of the most powerful men in the world in this detailed study. I hope you find it, it is an unforgettable one.

  • This is a mini series called "Napoleon", by A&E...if you're still wondering.

  • it'a aminiseries from the 2000
