  • My favourite game ever! <3

  • I like how what they showed in this trailer isn't even from the game

  • That isn't how Torin sounded on my version...

  • Was definitely a big part of my childhood games. OMG was it ever fun!!!

  • DREEP. COME HERE.

  • Man I wish I could find this game again. I wish game developers would start creating the point, click, and type games again just like this and King's Quest. Retro games are making a huge comeback, I wish these types of games would too. Of course I've been out of the PC gaming environment for so long I don't know what I'm talking about I guess and there could be games like this still being sold.

  • Such a shame gaming has declined so much in recent years. This beats any 360/PS3 game hands down.

  • Let's face it: That's one of the best family friendly adventures ever made! We should all email Al Lowe and tell him he has to make a second part of it!

  • I need some help in identifying the soundtrack used in this trailer, I have heard before used in a swedish television series but I was never able to identify it. Can anyone help?

  • Oh my gawd, the good memories. <3 WARM FUZZY FEELINGS.

  • This should have been turned into an Animated Movie. I bought this game as I was sort of meddeling in the idea of getting back into gaming after the 80s. Had so much fun with it. I love these puzzle type point and click games.

  • were is g-man:)

  • You kidding me? I still OWN it!

  • Does anyone know where the music in this trailer is from?

  • great game.. god I long for the days of good adventures like this or any of the Tex Murphy titles..

  • I have this game...

    Good times, good times.

  • I've just got it off piratebay unlegally, but hey whats the catch if u cant find it! The game is very entertaining. graphics reminds me of KQ7

  • When you think of classic Cd-rom games, you think Torin's Passage!

  • sluggetti and peatballs

  • Torin Passage fuckin rox!

  • Thank you for uploading this video!

Torin's Passage is an excellent adventure!!!

  • This is truly the shit.

  • im 14...... this was the best game i ever played wen i woz little.......... i still have it but it wont run i love this game!!!!!!! it rocks!!!!!!! can anyone tell me the link between the kings quest and this plz?

  • They're both made by Sierra, I think. The stories don't actually link up though! I played it when i was little too, i'm 18 now.

  • This is my favorite game of all time!!! I played it on my old windows 98, but now i have an xp, and it wont work on xp =(.

  • I love the term they use: "'DISCOVER' the lovely Leena". I love this game; it was done so beautifully.

  • FARK I LOVE THIS GAME! "you're not welcome here you decrepit old creep!

  • d-r-eep come h-ere!

    ME TOO!!

  • They just don't make games like they used to. These classic ones had such better storylines than some of the playstation 3 crap that's getting churned out.

  • I agree 100%

I grew up on games like this, Kings Quest, Space Quest and Monkey Island- games that were story driven, rather than graphics.

  • King's Quest and Torin's passage are amazing.

I grew up on them too.

  • I love Kings Quest. That game was amazing.

  • @elaurenta King's Quest, and The Black Cauldron were my first PC games. There was also another very odd one called "In Search Of The Most Amazing Thing." I picked it up at Babages. Remember that store? :) I miss all the games. Then I got more into Atari, NES, Sega.. then totally stopped for a while. Torin's Passage, and Jedi Knight were two games that got me back into the PC gaming circuit. Then I bought the Kings Quest compilation that just rocked all that could rock in the mid to late 90s

  • That was back when I handful of artists and programmers could create a game. Games that actually had personality because they did need a team of 100 people and a $50 million budget. its really sad that that era of gaming is over :(

  • LOL

    xD

Null void scared me when I was little.

  • Arg! I bought this and it won't install!

  • google for DOSBox Torins Passage!

  • YAY!! I love this game. I remember my cousin and I playing it for weeks straight trying to get through the puzzles with no walkthrough!

Haha, it's actually sitting on my desk right now! How ironic...

  • BOOGLE !!!

    :]

i just played this game xDDD

    gawd

    brought back so many memories

  • what was the music used for the trailer? I've heard it somewhere else

  • Oh Thankyouthankyouthankyou!

I've been trying to find out the name of this one for years! Now I just have to try to find the game somewhere.

  • I loved this game so much. It was the first animated PC game I had played. I remember thinking, "Man they can't get any more advanced than this in games" when I was playing it. The animation and responsiveness / interactivity back then was just too cool. I loved the goofiness in it too. There was a part where an old creature kept Torin out of some entrance. Torin would ask questions and he never had a good answer. He'd just reply with something like, "OH . . well YEAH, NEVERMIND!"

  • I feel the same way as you. I remember many parts such as the play, the crying tree, getting pieces of a puzzle, and etc. It was the first game I truly delved into. I did all the puzzle up till the end where I got confused. I was just floating around after being thrown into prison, but I never understood what to do.

  • i love this game its a classic and if u want it it to run on xp just right click on it go to properties compatibility and click on everything in display settings

  • Certainly a major improvement over King's Quest VII in terms of use of hand drawn animation.

  • Oh man I just love it.

Can't explain how great I feel right now, remembering this game.

    Time to play it again^^

  • EYE FIVE

  • A childhood favorite! If I'm really lucky, it's still lying around somewhere (though I seriously doubt it). I would love to play that game again if only for a few days.

  • I still have this game, lol

  • where can i get this game.. more importantly HOW much

  • I bought mine off Amazon for only 5 bucks LOL

  • I can see they change it abit by the time it was released.

  • Torin's Passage was the best game ever!

  • a great game.. too bad they didnt make the whole series.

  • Boogle was the cutest! Love it!

  • God, i love that game! =D

  • Oh, the sweet nostalgic feeling... Is there any way to get these games running on modern computers?

  • DOSbox works pretty good. Put "DOSbox" into google and voila!

  • Or ScummVM ;)Anyway, I've played Torin's passage and it was pretty neat =)

  • it still works on xp, just right click on the .exe file and go to properties - compatibility and run the game as windows 95 or 98

  • @Xerosch I beat this game but I would never want to play it now...

  • Al Lowe! He looks so happy in this trailer.

  • It´s a shame that they don´t make such games anymore.

  • I think it's better this way. Today's 'gamers' wouldn't understand XD :)

  • quoted for the truth man..

  • I played Torrins Passage and it was incredible :)
