@G92Terran Your post shows ignorance. You don't seem to be able to spell words out. Read Ezekiel 16:49-50, which outlines the sins of Sodom. None of the sins listed are homosexuality. Posting the same comment about Sodom on multiple videos is not a positive thing.

I heard a saying: don't be christian - be Christ-like! And the accounts of Jesus, in the bible, are AWESOME ideals that I think the world would be better off following... if the people following him actually BEHAVED LIKE HIM. And judging and blaming is not the way Jesus reacted.

Nietzsche wrote on Christianity as being a Slave Morality based on good vs. evil intentions. Anyone who is persecuted should adopt a Master Morality that determines action through good or bad consequences. Let the Christians keep their slave morality. Those that choose can all rise above it or fight with them (bad consequence). As someone who accepts that another's beliefs and opinions cannot be changed until that person wants to change, it's best to let everyone believe what they want.

There is not one gay who CAN'T relate to this verse. Therefore, gays need to see that they are not enemies of God, Jesus spoke about their ordeals long before they were born. God is always a friend of the oppressed and the abused. Don't mistake this institution called the church for Jesus. Jesus LIVES within the hearts of His believers.

Jesus forgave most sinners; the only people he did not forgive, but accused, denounced and condemned were the religious leaders who thought they had the only truth. In fact, the only people ever condemned in the Bible (OT+NT) are those who do not show caring, outreach, compassion and forgiveness to those who needed support.

The comments in this discussion prove that many "Christians" continue the tradition of the Pharisees, sticking to the letter of a text they do not understand. Mat.7.21-23.

There are also many theologians who say that Jesus was just a man, the resurrection did not take place, it is ok to have sex before marriage, women may lead churches and teach men etc.

You obviously have a lot of issues regarding homosexuality. Until you get over your issues and deal with them, you are going to continue to be a very sad excuse of a witness for God. Branding everybody who does not agree with you as apostate shows is pathetic. Name calling when you cannot get people to agree with your destructive theology is inappropriate and shows that you are losing the discussion, because you no longer have anything valid to say.

many passages on unclean spirits and Romans 1 :24 states that the act of homosexuality is UNCLEANNESS that GOD handed them over to. It's pretty easy to make the math dude. I personally before my eyes saw that demon come out of a man who was mollested when I called it out by name "HOMOSEXUAL SPIRIT" and the other spirits that were there. His shoulders went out beyond human, his chest went out also and that demon came shrieking out of him. It's real and it's out to destroy families.

There are many theologians around the world who disagree with your homophobic view of the Bible and of God. Almost every single church denomination is divided over the issue. There are gay affirming groups pushing for change in many different denominations.

Context is important. Charles Errdman, in his commentary on 1 Corinthians indicates, The practice of impurity formed a feature of idolatrous worship. The Catholic Study Bible indicates these verses may be in reference to religious prostitution. There are many different translations of the word. The word homosexual did not exist in ancient Hebrew or Greek. We cannot definitively translate the text as homosexual.

I used to be Christian and I must tell you that 90% of Christians are hypocritical assholes! They absolutely detest gays, whether they admit it or not.

In Leviticus 20 , God calls for the deaths of adulterers, disobedient children and homosexuals.

These dickhead Christians have no problem protesting a gay event, but they won't protest at an adulterer's house...

Some GLBT people find they can get into a church that accepts them, either a queer church or an affirming church. Unfortunately, many GLBT people leave, because they cannot take the persecution.

The persecution and rejection of black people in white churches is one of the reasons why there are so many black churches, and even black denominations.

Well I know about the MCC churches. I hear they're all over the world and they're totally accepting of GLBTQ. It's nice to see that not all Christians are assholes.

The MCC is one of several different queer-oriented denominations. I think the MCC is the largest, but not the only one. There are a few that are more Catholic or Anglican in orientation. There are charismatic queer congregations and I think one charismatic queer denomination.

I attend a straight church that is very affirming. We let gay people to hold any and every position in the church, as long as the person has the skills required. There is a small social group for GLBT people.

My point is that everyone, especially GLBTQ people should find their own faith in God, but it doesn't have to be the christian one.

Marilyn Manson explained it well "i never hated the one true God, but the god of the people i hated!" these people have gained this horrid false and negative perception on God that they dont know what being a christian truly means.. I have been openly gay at my high school and its my fourth year.. there are plenty of ignorant people, but i also found people full of love and care who got their true faith down,
