When i got my hamster they said that was like its junk food. So we got these big chunks of stuff and its like his real food. We put some of those in his food bowl and then we hand give him the rest. Hope this helped at least this much | |

Thats alot of food a day you dont actually want to feed them that much just a little bit then at night give them a little bit more since it will go stale through out the day

You can feed Hamsters Fruit

half of a Grape for liquid..And I wouldnt recommend Penut Butter since it can stick in their lungs You should know more about Hamsters

Hello, my hamster is overwait becaus his other family fed him to much. He is a teddy bear hamster. So shoud i give his as much as the dwarf should eat?

@HamsterHelper101 I suggest you put him in his hamster ball (if you dont have one go buy) and let him exercise more. give him slightly more than a dwarf hamster should eat but a teeny bit less than what a syrian hamster should eat.

For syrian hamsters, I think that 2tbsp of hamster mix (OR 2 pellets OR 1 pellet and 1 tbsp of mix) a day is fine.

With this kind of hamster food your hamster will only eat what it wants and won't get all the vitamins it needs. Hamsters sometimes start hoarding food for later also, they don't always eat it all. other than that great video.

It's best to have a diet of pellets and grains. I understand that the grain food does have some small pellets but I recommend getting a bag of pellets. I'm just saying.

i have the exact same food :P i let my hamster eat what she wants, she doesnt over eat cuz i give her about as much as u do and shell take 2 days 2 eat it, but i am worried beacause i havnt seen her drinking , and i dont think she is , ive had her for a week and 3 days :)

if your hamster isnt drinking then you should put out a bowl of water until it finds out theres water in the bottle

Actually, hamsters only eat as much as they need to. They will rarely ever over eat. :]

Thats partly true. But obese hamsters are very common due to hamsters over eating. If its there theyll eat it. And if they dont and you put too much in it can go mouldy and then if they eat that they get ill. Better to feed it the right amount each day than piling it up. :)

I agree and like you said above thehamsterhelper if we didnt have parents we would eat whateverwe want if you give your hamster that much food just because it looks like he doesnt eat all of it doesnt mean he doesnt have a stash somewhere hamsters are known for hoarding food for later. 1 or 2 teaspoons is more than enough for one night. Other than that 5 STARS VERY NICE VIDEO

Yeah, But Dwafs Can Get Diabetes If you feed it fruit. But You can Feed them veggies because thats natual for your hamster.

Yes Peanit Butter can be bad but if you make cookies i dont think its would be clumby in there mouth. Its like peanut butter cookies :] And a hamster will only eat as much as it needs unless you force it with treats.
