I started out as an IE Technician in 1992. Perfect entry level to bigger things later on. I worked as an IE at VW, then in logistics consulting also as an IE, & for the last 6 years, have been in Operations Management. It really does give you a good understanding of metrics & productivity, 2 things that many people dont always grasp, even managers!

Awesome video! I really enjoy watching this video, I was able to get a better understanding of IE from it. My Institutional is making a name change they are going from IE to Applied Engineering Management. Since, I lack a year before I recieve my undergrad in IE I can opt for the name change, but by watching this video, I feel encourage to get my degree with it's current name.
