I used this all the time in Florida, I did it a little differently from my knees and I set it up with two prior moves first. It's all in the setup. If you are moving quick and use a couple moves first, they typically don;t see it coming. I learned this from a former college wrestler and coach.
Seems like an odd Peterson roll with no set-up whatsoever. I've wrestled in PA my whole life and wrestled for Pitt, done properly, a Peterson roll can be very effective, but setting up the move is just as important as the move itself. Do this same move with a sit out and turn in and it might be more effective...and keep the arm, grab the leg ie Peterson roll.
That just looks like a shitty attempt at a granby roll. That would never work. A good wrestler will either square up behind you and suck you back or sink a half in and pin you.
I don't know where your school is but i know here in iowa that would never work for a medium sized guy i would prefer a stand up into a switch or a stand up because with someone covering like they would in a real match they would be able to keep up with the bottom guy and it wouldn't work thy would be put right to there back.
I don't think this would work very well in Cali either... .---.

Never would I try this move ever because if I was a guy on top I would pin you right then and there.

You mean a fat man roll right?

I've watched a couple of these videos and none of them seem very good. They all seem like a move that wouldn't work after middle school.

I dont think it matters where your from this move would never work anywhere. Not in a live match at least.

I agree that this would not work here in Pennsylvania
