@tyrone199 No. It's right as you say, you walked past the mill or you're past problem. If you're thinking of passed, that means stuff like you passed school
so cool!!!!!!!! i want to watch it a 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999888888888888888888888888777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777776666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666655555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555544444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333 times
For some reason this cartoon scared the crap out of me as a little kid. I think it was seeing the illustrations in the book come to life that was so disturbing, especially the fox. 0:44 scared me the most, probable followed by 3:34 which just seems to be purposely building up suspense right up until it does all of the quick shots at the end. Call me crazy but that scene still creeps me out a tiny bit.
Me and my brother watched this so much when we were younger. My friend always wanted to watch it when he came around. Classic! Remember Ping the Goose after and George the Monkey and the gothic Norman the Doorman! They just don't make them like this any more. I had no idea it was from 1970 though...
I attended the A.G. Bell Elementary School in Chicago from 1978-1984, and this film was a staple there. Whenever we had bad weather and had to sit in the Assembly Hall for recess, we were shown a steady diet of Weston Woods films, and this was the real favorite of all the kids. We cheered when the title screen came up, and clapped our hands, stomped our feet, and sang along until Ms. Campa or Ms. Smith flicked the switch on the projector and yelled at us.
I vaguely remember this. I mostly remember being creeped out by the fox. DX

They've spelt passed wrong, they spell it "past" the mill. But, that's how you spell past, as in, "in the past".

@tyrone199
Past can also be used as a preposition or an adverb. Rosie must walk past the mill before she can have passed it.
