He won, and PC lost that round, so he didn't have the option to change back to Marth.

PC then counter-picked this stage because Fox's strongest attacks send people upwards, and this is one of the highest ceilings.

How is fox better than them on this stage? His upsmash and up throw-> up air all don't kill nearly as early here. And his shine spike can be recovered with the barrel on occasions. No matter how good the fox player is, it wouldn't be what you'd call a good stage.

Uh.. do you see ALL that space? It's called camping. A campy Fox on this stage is the most annoying shit in the world. How is Marth supposed to kill a Fox on this stage? Falco is close, but Fox takes the cake. So what if his upsmash kills like 10% later? Falco can't forward B the edge and gets edgeguarded to shit and Marth can't do his platform combos and his gimps aren't as effective.

Loser picks stage, winner picks character, loser picks characters. This allows the loser to counter pick to a stage he plays well then the winner can counter pick the character so he doesn't get screwed by the stage then the loser gets to counter pick the character to have a good match up.
