Practice with a few slow mid to easy, clean vocals and then focus on the clean/distorted transition vocals. Trust me, I'm getting the best of results on that technique. Don't believe me, search how to screamo scream via youtube and click the first video that comes up. Go through almost all the related videos based on the first video you saw since the first screamo scream technique video.

Vocal range CAN be extended, sometimes its hard to do, but its possible, just keep working at it! thank you for the complement on growls, it all comes with practice. cheesy and old, but as the saying goes, practice makes perfect. by now i think this cover kinda sucks even haha! That entire area of the song was written with a rhyming scheme, not with a bunch of words put together to make lines. If you need to, I can slow the song down for you and post it on here, then you can tell me who's wrong.
If they were one of your favorite bands like you claim in a previous post, then you'd think you would do more research on their lyrics before you preform their songs. Other than that and the fact you may need to work on your singing voice a bit (the screaming is alright... only through the music break), you done a good job.
