You guys have to be kidding me if you think "Revolutions Per Minute" is the best Rise Against album. "The Sufferer and the Witness" is hands down the greatest album. Its so good I cant even chose my favorite song from that album. And no I am not a mainstream fan. I love RA and am going to see them in April in San Diego. So quit wining, "RPM" is not that great.

Fuck man. The reason Appeal was so successful was not because of the punk scene, but because it was well received from mainstream fans. I don't like Appeal not because it was successful, I hate that album because it sounds so bad.

Appeal To Reason is hands down the worst and it's a pity that most of these new mainstream fans only know the words for Hero of war and Entertainment but when the band plays some of the older songs these fans go "I don't like it, it's too fast" or what so ever. @Trashh87 ummmm Sirens of a counter culture. Ra is good but all the songs are fast paced and is essentailly the better quality unravelling in tone and recording i however prefere the unravelling. But Sirens was everything from fast paced hardcore to gentle acoustic with nothing bad between that gap. Satw follows this and AR why people hate it who knows they seem to have more thought lyrically rather then lets go fast and blow of steam.
