@Argos top left corner to the right of the close, open and shrink buttons (if Mac) there are 4 buttons selecting layout. Also if you're in to using the iPad for djing screw serato. Use traktor. No need for a big serato box strapped to a laptop when you're not using traditional equipment.

@rice4life8711 Just remember this is a test version of osculator. It will only run for 15 min at a time. If you do not already own osculator you can wait till the 10th to get our MIDI Server FOR FREE from our site.

Pretty cool man, I like effects and all, but I'm not one to use too much of them. You did them tastefully however and that's more than I can say for most DJ's that WAY over-use them. As I spin video now, a setup like this to control audio AND video effects would be pretty bitchin'. I currently use the Korg NanoKontrol and Akai LPK. Good work man. I like that multibutton kill feature, how did you set it up?

Could you set up a multibutton to turn on multiple midi functions as well?

Eg. Multibutton > switch to deck 1, FX 1 and trigger an effect?

The setup is simple, tap multi-button, select buttons to be played simultaneously (they will flash red when selected), then press play.

Yes it will turn on as well as off, or hold multiple buttons for as long as you hold down the play, you must keep in mind that this video was made in the first 10 min of me playing with the multi feature, so you just see the one simple example. This is just scratching the surface, possibilities are endless.

This version is specifically custom made for Serato Scratch Live. We well be making a version of MIDI Deck for VDJ in the future as well as for Video SL, Itch, Traktor, and of coarse for the Bridge. This is pretty sweet i must admit. How is the MIDI sent? Via the USB? Most people i've heard talk about using the iPad/iPhone have used the wireless as the "midi"

@Badl2ussian I don't trust wireless. . . .too many factors (other peoples iPhones/other DJ's, etc). Plus, you get into the technical side of things. I may be aTech Nerd. . .but I also know that wi-fi really isn't the way to go than a trusted signal directly from a cable. . . .

Midi is just being carried through the usb. . . .I'll personally wait till 3rd generation iPads before I make the decision to go this route. . . .
