What the foreign reporters need to do is bring to light the fact that western countries play a direct role in conflicts that happen in most African countries. Natural resources from this countries that are bouhgt for less to nothing help fund and support rebel groups and corrupt leaders. Hey friend, I just wanted to put out there that many Westerners feel powerless to change what western companies can do in, for lack of a better word, developing countries. For instance, I am an Alaskan native and Alaskan natives made sure U.S. oil companies pay large dividends to pay back for the natural resources they pull out of Alaska. I think this is what they should do in Africa. You are right. Africans have to stand up, like Alaskan natives did and demand reciprocity for their NR.

Many westerners are materialistic & dont care, but there are still many who care and dont want to be a part of an injustice, such as robbing africans of their natural resources.
