To Amhara people I would like to say: There can still be unity being different and distinct. That is the truest form of unity. Acceptance and Respect of people's differences in history. Listen then Speak. We have our own history and other ethnic groups living in Ethiopia do as well. To make it clear also Oromo people are kushitic. Habeshas only consist of Amhara people, people living in Tigray, Tigrinya people in Eritrea. I did the research.

I am amhara and love this song!! I know Oromo's have gone through oppression especially since the time of Haile Selassie please know not all Amharas want you just to assimilate to their culture and history. There are Amhara people like myself who are happy acknowledging differences in history and cultures of people living in Ethiopia. Dont give up on your brothers and sisters. Amharas want to be friends they just dont yet understand the significance of our differences.
