I think it is better to pegged to say "100 x lowest salary" to encourage ministers to raise the standard of lowest paid citizens....

ERP should be based on traffic flow and if "forget to insert cash card" instead of "fine" replace it with auto-deduction of say "2 times of original charges" upon next entry within a week.

I hope this time round the steep rise in HDB flats is addressed vigorously. I believe the price of flat should be capped affordable to those in division 3 and 4 of the citizens. It should be pegged to cater for its citizen and high for foreigners. It should not be left solely to market forces. The question is, does the salaries of those working in division 3 and 4 increases in tandem to that in the increase of the prices for HDB flats for the past 30 years ? Clearly, the answer is 'No'.

Well said. I'm supportive of high salaries for ministers but we ought to rethink the benchmark and understand the impact that it creates on public spiritedness. Glad too see the opposition making good speeches.
