what are your favorite modules? I am thinking of getting a small euro setup to start off, and was thinking of getting the frequensteiner, doepfer morphing filter, cwejman resonator, a plan b model 15 and a harvestman timesafari to start, any modules that you cant live without?
as boring as it sounds, my most "can't live without" modules are multiples, mixers (the polarized variety ala Plan B Model-14 especially) and the new Doepfer A-182-2 Precision CV adder. it has many uses but most important for me it gives me a 7 octave range switch to oscillators that are without such amenities, such as the full frequency Plan B Model-15. hope that helps some what. your module selection would be great additions to a preexisting analog synth as sound manipulators.
Well I actually plan to controll almost everything from a mcv24 so I was going to go for awesome sound generators that are things I cant get with the computer. Also I can build multiples myself (as far as I know there just 1/8th inch jacks connected in serial by wires) so all the cv processing stuff I can do in the computer. I guess Im curious more about the sound generation and processing side of it. any tips on that front? Thanks!
Well then I would suggest the Cwejman AI-2 Audio Interface module, for optimum impedance and signal level when running tracks from your DAW into the modular as an external in line FX unit or FX loop.
what tone generating modules are you using? vco filter/lpg etc? what's the reverb? sounds great.

Sweet! Is the gate doing all the "enveloping" of the sound? The FM at 3:00 is great, sounds so throaty I can feel it in my eso-fagus. :)

Beautiful!
What's the module in the upper-right? The one with all of the LEDs?

Nice work. It would be nice to know the main players in this. Model 15 VCO, Frequensteiner,...? It's hard to see. Thanks.
